Greetings!
Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. In this edition of the daily grind, I was able to overwhelm a very dangerous Deception deck. Also, in this edition, I am again feeling the fun and the excitement while playing the game (the same feeling when I started playing).
While I am starting to learn how to play with more patience, I am able to post a 5-1 record for this edition of daily play and earn. It would have been 6-0 if not for the disconnection problem that made me lose a game. Although I recognize that disconnection is part of the game, it would have been nice if I had gone 6-0.
Featured Match
In this featured match, I was able to win against a very dangerous Deception deck with overwhelming passion in the Auric Gold. As of the moment, I have been jumping between Auric Gold and Midnight for some time now, and I hope to get back to Solar Gold in the coming weeks.
God Power: Enrage
Mulligan
Just like in any other Mulligan versus a Deception, I made sure to get cards with 1-2 mana so that I could play them on the first turn.
1 Mana
I played Valka's Captain. My opponent did not play any cards on the first turn.
2 Mana
I went face, I played Wood Cutter Imp, and went face again. My opponent played Spellbound.
3 Mana
I played Raid Reveller. My opponent played Bronze Gate.
4 Mana
I killed Bronze Gate using Valka's Captain and Wood Cutter Imp. I played Kaori and went face again using Raid Reveller. My opponent played Screams in the night and Made Mark.
5 Mana
I went face, I played Wood Cutter Imp and Blade Styx to reduce the hp of my opponent to 3. My opponent went face, conceded, and it was GG.
