Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. Food Chain Nature is one of the strongest deck archetypes that I have seen. It can turn around a losing game with only 1-10 left in your god's HP. Just like in this edition of my weekly Daily Grind blogging, I was able to turn around a losing game with only 6 left on my god's HP.

But winning in this dire situation needs some luck. In this game, if I didn't complete my combo cards it was a sure loss. Luckily I was able to draw the last piece of my combo cards just in time. But overall today was not my lucky because there were lots of distractions in my gaming thus I was only able to win five out of ten games. It could have been higher.

In this featured match, I am up against a fabled Zoo Light deck. This Zoo Light deck is formidable once it draws the right cards.

Against any light deck, I always look for my 1-2 combo cards.

My opponent played Humble Benefactor. I played Marsh Walker.

My opponent played Bonded Warrior and summoned a 1/1 skeleton. My opponent went face with Humble Benefactor. I killed Humble Benefactor with Marsh Walker. I played Underbrush Boar and it attacked and killed Bonded Warrior.

My opponent played Thaeric Extortionist and transformed my Marsh Walker into a Thaeir Militant. My opponent killed Underbrush Boar with 1/1 Skeleton. I played The Trial Begins and I pulled Crescent Wolf from my deck.

My opponent played Madam Denholm and Dryder Sailwater. He went face with his all other cards reducing my god's HP to 27. I played Vow of Champions and I drew Lootable Corpse from my deck. I played Lootable Corpse.

My opponent Felid Janissary and buffed Dryder Sailwater, he played Radiant Dawn and went face with all his other cards reducing my god's HP to 17. I attacked using Lootable Corpse and drew Zaskia from my deck. I played Zaskia.

My opponent killed Zaskia and went face with all his other cards. I played my Food Chain combo and gave Frost Giant Deadshot, Guerilla Gardener (2x), Hevner, and Spiny Porcupine. I killed Dryder Sailwater with Guerilla Gardener. I killed Felid Janissary with the second Guerilla Gardener. At the end of the turn, I got six creatures on the board while my opponent has one.

My opponent played Dread Pirate and killed Spiny Porcupine, he played Thaeric Extortionist and transformed my Vibrant Fruit to 1/1 Thaeric Militant. He played Humble benefactor and buffed one of his creatures. I killed all my opponent's creatures using Hevner and Guerilla Gardener, I went face reducing my opponent's god HP to 7. I played Encumbered Looter.

My opponent decided to disconnect and it is GG.
