More than a week ago I was in my most dominant “Daily Play & Earn” by winning 8 out of 10 matches.
During that dominant run, I also went up in rank, which means being matched with more skilled opponents and decks are much better. Also, during that run, my deck is only composed of cards from the collection in the game and no card is from the marketplace. After that dominant run and ranking up I was not able to duplicate that eight victories but I was able to make my victories at 50%+ which is fairly decent for a deck that is 100% free.
Last week I nearly duplicated my eight victories but I came up short with one victory, still, an impressive run using a free deck.
Victory #1 – versus Nature Deck
My first matchup on this daily play and earn is against a Nature Deck, to which many players admit that it is a hard matchup for any War Deck and indeed I always struggle to win against a Nature but I do come up victorious against Nature decks once in a while. Later in this match, I was at a disadvantage in terms of God HP, my opponent got 27, and mine was 22, it is a good thing that at this point my opponent does not have total control of the board.
Victory #2 – versus Light Deck
My second victory on this daily play & earn is against a Light deck. In this match, the cards that made me control the board are Harvest Arachne and Enduring Shield, these two cards if used at the right time are a deadly combination that can turn the tide unto which is going to control the board. Also in this match, I was patiently keeping Onyx Nightblade in my hand in case a 1 HP card is played by my opponent. I made sure to not concede the board control to my opponent by using my “favor” to draw a card from the sanctum that summons a bodyguard with frontline and with the help of Tartissian Skirmisher I finally made the match out of reach from my opponent.
Victory #3 – versus a frontline-heavy/spell Nature Deck
My opponent in this match seems to have a frontline-heavy/spell Nature deck in use. Near the half of this match, my opponent is in control of the board but I was lucky to draw Flamecaller (one of my win condition cards), all I needed to do is wait for the right moment to play it. A few turns after the half of the match I found the perfect time to play my Flamecaller card which helps me in controlling the board. Then I followed it up with Tamed Mammoth, which is also one of my win condition cards. After I played Tamed Mammoth my opponent managed to put four 1/1 cards on the board, it is a good thing I already had Flamecaller on my board which will obliterate those four 1/1 cards of my opponent. I actually made a mistake against those four 1/1 cards, instead of using my other cards on the board I used my Flamecaller to attack one of the 1/1 cards (which I shouldn’t) but I was lucky because I still have control of the board after that mistake.
Victory #4 – versus Deception Deck
Early on this, I was at a disadvantage. I think I became lucky to have drawn the right card at the right moment that slowly turns control of the board in my favor.
Victory #5 – versus Death Deck
Just like from victory #4 in this match, I was also at a disadvantage at the beginning of the match and then I was lucky to draw the right cards at the right moment to let me get the victory.
Note: I was not able to record victories #6 and #7 for this Daily Play & Earn.
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
