Hello friends of Gods Unchained, how are you? I hope so.
In today's post I will share with you my way to reach the 3 stars in the last "Gauntlet of the Gods" with Auros, God of War, presenting information about the deck I used and the battles I fought in that challenge.
I will also bring, for the first time in one of my posts, the video with the gameplay of the 3 battles I fought and the consequent specific comments of each one of them.
And here we go.
My Auros deck is still under construction, I have been testing some ideas and card possibilities, so I haven't reached a winning streak or even a high winning percentage with this one, but its base, in my opinion, is somewhat competitive, and the cards of the current version are the following:

On the other hand, some of the above cards are essential and, as you will see in the videos below, made all the difference in the 3 battles of Gauntlet of the Gods, for example:
This creature at first glance may seem weak, but if well used it can hurt the opposing God very badly. Its ability to increase 1 point of strength helped me especially in the first battle, because Boil-Blood Outlaw stayed alive during the whole battle and in the end it reached 8 points of attack damage, which is really amazing for a creature that costs only 1 mana point.
My strategy for using this card is to always attack the opposing God or creatures with no damage, so that Boil-Blood Outlaw builds up a high damage, and to always keep creatures with frontline ability next to it so that it is not attacked by opposing cards.
This powerful support card has 2 abilities: i) granting 2 health points to all God of War creatures in your deck, and ii) drawing a card into your hand. It is an excellent ability to use in the early part of the battle, because 2 life points are of great value.
In the case of my deck I have felt the need to increase the amount of War cards so that they also benefit from the "Call to Arms" effect, thus reducing the amount of neutral cards.
Another very useful card in the deck is this weapon for Auros that grants you at least 6 damage, in addition to the ability to possess the GodBlitz ability. The weapon proves to be even more imposing if possible its combo with Warmonger Smith's ability that grants it +2 damage points for the next attack, i.e. Blade os Styx's damage increases from 3 to 5 in one attack.
Let's see this deck in action in the 3 battles of Gauntlet of the Gods.
The Auros' ability chosen when the battles started was Slayer, which causes 2 damage to the opponent God, for the first 2 battles, and Valka's Presence, which summons a Valknir Raider 1/1, in the third battle.
In the initial card draw I also tried to always substitute the cards with higher mana cost so that I could get criaturs with reduced mana cost, making it possible to use them in the first rounds.
Boil-Blood Outlaw was the first creature I added to the battlefield and it remained throughout the battle, reaching 8 attack points at the end.
The opponent sometimes made mistakes and didn't attack Boil-Blood Outlaw and failed to defeat it in the few opportunities he had. I also tried to always keep a creature with frontline ability for his protection.
Near the fifth round the opponent showed a reaction and had 6 creatures on the battlefield, but 2 of them with frontline and no damage, which also served as an attack base for Boil-Blood Outlaw to increase his damage.
In the end when I added Hired Muscle there was not much the opponent could do, and my victory was guaranteed.
I managed to use Call to arms on the fourth turn, thus benefiting all my War creatures in my deck, and 2 turns later I received an improved Boil-Blood Outlaw, and was able to adopt the same strategy as in the first battle, that is, increasing its attack damage by attacking the opponent's God or on cards with no damage and keeping a frontline creature by its side.
On turn 7 I added "Void Drake" to the battlefield and was sure of victory in 1 or 2 turns, however the opponent fought bravely and at one point managed to recover the God's life from 8 points to 22 points using "just a Nibble" (which heals 7 points of the God's life) for 2 times.
But the battlefield was completely dominated with Boil-Blood Outlaw, Hired Muscle, and Void Dragon, and the opponent left the match before it was even over.
The third battle started in a slightly different way with the choice of Valka's Presence, it was a longer battle but at no time was there a big threat from my opponent, since he was forced to adopt a more defensive behavior.
I used "call to arms" in the fifth round, and soon after I received in my hand an improved "Tamed Mammoth", whose ability is to increase your damage in case of damage suffered by a friendly creature, as long as it is not defeated, made a big difference in the battle.
On the seventh turn the opponent managed to defeat all my cards, but I had in my hand a Helian Elite that I later added to the battlefield and from then on I only managed to achieve victory.
