Hello my good friends from GODS UNCHAINED how are you? I hope so.
During the games I played, both the ones I won and the ones I lost, I was always very careful to check for new cards that could help me in the game, especially those that could adapt to the decks I was already using.
It is always very interesting to adopt this procedure, because with it we can get to know the cards of the game that, although they are many, we have a repetition of the most common in most games.
There are some cards that are present in all games, some that are usually used, and finally, the rarest cards that are mostly legendary.
So, after analyzing several cards during the games I played, I wrote down their names and then went to the market to see if they could be acquired, or if they were too expensive and out of my reach.
What I want to share with you in today's post is what cards I chose, why I chose them, and how much I paid for them, being open to comments about my choices and tips on what cards I should look for in the future.
Before dealing specifically with the cards chosen, I believe it is interesting to note that all purchases I made were made using GODS TOKEN received as a reward for the event BLESSINGS OF THE GODS.
I say this to encourage everyone to play and complete this challenge, which varies according to your dedication to the game, not being important what your percentage of victory obtained, but play to get the wins without a limit of matches to be played.
I really look forward to the date I receive and count on the value to be able to buy new cards, it's very exciting.
Now let's take a look at the cards I acquired:
Status: This is a rare creature belonging to the God of Light with a mana cost of 4 points, 2 attack points and 4 life points.
Why I chose it: I understood that Angelic Veteran would be very useful in my Light deck for its ability to grant protection to all creatures with 2 strength points that would be summoned after it enters the board.
This ability proves very interesting when we remember that Thaeriel has the "Summon Acolyte" power, through which it is possible to summon an Acolyte with exactly 2 strength points onto the battlefield for the cost of 3 mana points.
Thus, when using Summon Acolyte it will be summoned and automatically buffed with protection, which for me is a very efficient status since you your opponent will have to dispense a spell or an attack to be able to remove such a condition and only after such cause damage to your acolyte.
Cost: 2.179 GODS TOKEN
Status: This is a epic weapon belonging to the God of Light with a mana cost of 3 points, 0 attack points and 5 life (durability) points.
Why I chose it: In my light deck I didn't have any relics (weapons) to use, Aetheric Alarm will serve me well due to it ability to summon a 0/2 "Aetheric Echo" with frontline every time my opponent summons a creature.
In other words, with 3 mana points I will be able to summon multiple creatures with frontline ability.
Although these will not have attack points, but this is not a problem, because with this I will have the security to include other creatures on the battlefield, including creatures with backline that usually have few life points, to take their turn to attack the opponent.
Cost: 3.0 GODS TOKEN
Status: This is a rare spell belonging to the God of Light with a mana cost of 3 points.
Why I chose it: This magic grants your creatures +1 attack point and +2 life points, removing their sleep effect.
This spell, in my opinion, has good use in two different moments, let's see.
The first one is to buff your creatures already on the battlefield, and for this you should prefer to use Radiant Dawn when you already have 2 or more creatures on the battlefield, otherwise the effect of this will not be very meaningful.
Another possibility is in certain situations where you have to defeat the opposing creature without allowing it to attack the next turn.
As we know, when a creature, except those with blitz, is added to the battlefield they can't attack on the initial turn, but this can be removed with Radiant Dawn which will remove the sleep effect of the newly added card.
And, this way, you will be able to summon a creature, make it stronger with 1/2 points and attack in the same round, which can be a good strategy to use in times of difficulty.
Cost: 0.44 GODS TOKEN
Status: This is a Epic creature belonging to the God of Light with a mana cost of 1 points, 1 attack points and 1 life points.
Why I chose it: A creature with a very low summon cost, only one point, but that can become very resilient.
Empyrean Pacifist is a backline creature, meaning that it cannot be attacked if there is any other friendly creature on the board. Its ability grants it, at the end of each turn, one life point, which is a kind of regeneration, and when it reaches 10 life points it will receive the Frontline ability.
Evidently the creature will hardly go unattacked until it reaches 10 life points, but it will certainly be able to evolve to a reasonable amount of life points without being bothered.
It is even more useful and efficient when we consider the possibility of having a combo with the cards we mentioned above.
With Radiant Dawn: Which can grant +1 attack point and +2 life point, making it not only strong, but also with an attack that can cause considerable damage to many creatures.
With Aetheric Alarm: Which will allow Empyream Pacifist to become stronger and stronger without being bothered by creatures, in the face of the Aetheric Echo with frontline that it will summon.
Cost: 1 GODS TOKEN
Status: This is a Rare weapon belonging to the Goddess of Nature with a mana cost of 3 points, 1 attack points and 3 life (durability) points.
Why I chose it: To finish off my purchases on a high level I decided on this Nature Goddess relic.
Its ability is to grant 2 attack points and 2 life points to your strongest creature at the end of each turn, at which time 1 durability point will be taken from the relic, so this buff can be granted 3 times.
With low mana cost, only 3 points, the relic can be added at the beginning of the game and turn a good creature, like a Black Jaguar for example, into a great creature able to annihilate the opponent's creatures, that usually at the beginning of the battles have 2 points of attack, without being eliminated.
This way you can have a great advantage with the mana you don't have to spend to defeat the opponent's creatures with this 2/2 buff each round.
It's a really good card, even more so because of its cost benefit, that is, low cost gods token for a good benefit in matches.
Cost: 0.53 GODS TOKEN
All the cards I chose, as I informed before, were based on the analysis of these cards when used by my opponents, since they ended up making all the difference in battle and caught my attention.
After writing this post I am even more certain that I made good purchases and I hope they will help me a lot in the next games.
In my beginning in Gods Unchained, at least for now, I do not intend to accumulate tokens received as rewards, but rather to invest them in the game so that I can evolve and reach new levels and rank.
I also think of the cards as an investment that, with more people playing every day, can have their value increased, obviously like the token, giving an eventual profit in the future.
My future intention for the next purchases is to choose an incredibly good card, probably legendary, even with a higher cost, to be the special card.
So that's it friends, those were my last purchases, keeping an eye out for new future cards in every battle.
I hope you enjoyed it, thanks for reading.
