Winning a Mini GU Tournament on Twitch

I closed the year off on December 31st by winning a mini 16 person bracket tournament on Twitch hosted by Bonkthat. The rules were simple, best of 1 and starter decks only. I entered this tournament after Hive account@dannykong dragged me into it only to face him in the first round lol. I faced off fellow streamer Hive account@jomigloy in the final round. Fun way to close off the year. On top of that, I also won the 10 xDai raffle he was doing straight after. What an evening!

PlayToEarn League Xmas Event 2021

On December 28 and 29 I participated in the PlayToEarn League Xmas Event 2021 tournament hosted by playtoearn.net. It was the was tournament I played that I actually progress somewhere. The brackets were open for 512 players, with the first 3 rounds being best of 1, the following ones best of 3 and the finals best of 5. There were also no card and set restriction, so I was quite nervous to face of against opponents who had loadouts of Genesis and Trial of the Gods cards. However, I managed to make it to the top 16, only to be eliminated in round 5. I had tons of fun. Some highlight include facing of against our good streamer friend Hive account@wispsi in round 3 and beating a Board Wipe Death deck, one of the most annoying and expensive decks to play against, in round 4.

Asterius! Finally

I can finally strengthen my Light Deck with this bad boi from a random leveling pack. The closing of 2021 blessed me with a new legendary card for my Light collection: Asterius, Glittering One. This is a great addition for my Zoo Light deck that relies heavily on flooding the board with creatures. The +2/+2 stats boost it gives to creatures with 2 strength or less and have 4/6 frontline stats is a huge turn advantage.
