Hey guys!
Last week I reached Mythic from Solar Gold in 26 Games. You can check my experience and Deck here: @lxxicf/from-solar-gold-to-mythic-in-26-games
For this Weekend I changed only 3 cards. This was my deck:
I took away 2x "Armor Lurker" and 1x "Guild Enforcer" and added 1x "Iron-Tooth Goblin", 1x "Inconspicuous Carriage" and 1x "Elixir of the Panther".
- "Iron-Tooth Goblin" is needed because of all these relics especially against Death and War. I felt that having at least one card to remove a relic is better than to wait until I can buy a "Wiccan Trapper" in the Sanctum.
- I swapped an "Inconspicuous Carriage" against "Guild Enforcer" because it's cheaper and a lot of my opponents don't care about his Afterlife. I had a few games against Death until our decks were empty and these few "Bombs" were helpful to win some of these marathon sessions.
- I felt that a additional Card was needed to steal one turn of my opponent so I added 1x "Elixir of the Panther". A nice side effect is that you are able (instead turn all enemys to sleep) to copy all enemy creatures to your hand. Again against Death my opponent only had Neferu on the board. I also was able to kill Neferu so before I killed her I took a copy of her and took the win with her a few turns later.
A good combo is also to let all enemies sleep and kill them one turn later when you reach 6 Mana and have a "Rapture Dance" in your hand.
I didn't changed much my playstyle and was able to reach 17/25 at Mythic, my best result ever since I joined GU!
My opponents this time:
Death 4 Win/3 Lost = 28% of my games
War 6/1 = 28%
Nature 2/3 = 20%
Magic 2/1 = 12%
Light 2/0 = 8%
Deception 1/0 = 4%
The next few weeks I will be on holidays so it will be a long GU-free time for me....
