I've been using Auric Rush on my midrange war because of tempo magic. It's the only way to deal with Demetrious and All-Seeing Spire in the early game to keep them from snowballing.

Seems your deck is more on the aggro side of the build I think Sharpen will be a useful card to dish out damage quickly and efficiently.
