Hello everyone,
After testing out 2 magic playstyles and 1 nature one, it is time to try out a deck for the first war playstyle I mentioned in my previous post which is the Relic Zoo!
This playstyle is very simple and basic it is about using a lot of creatures to do damage while protecting them with your shields and relics!
Such playstyle is excellent for players who are just starting the game as it does not need any expensive cards, and I tried as much as I can to keep the deck as cheap as possible!
So without further ado, let's checkout the results of testing this deck for 25 games!
The deck:
So as we can notice, a very basic straightforward deck, literally free to play and nothing too fancy!
Starting rank:
I usually de-rank and start my weekend ranked games in solar gold, because I do not think I am able to get 20+ wins in mythic with the cards I have.
Also I kept this deck even cheaper than what I have to be very compatible for very new players.
End rank:
We ended up reaching mythic, however we suffered a lot of losses there as you will see in the stats.
Solar Gold:
Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate
Light 0/0
Death 0/0
Nature 4/4
Mage 2/2
War 1/2
Deception 2/2
Overall 9/10 90%
Ethereal Diamond:
Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate
Light 1/1
Death 1/1
Nature 3/3
Mage 1/1
War 1/2
Deception 2/3
Overall 9/11 81.8%
Mythic:
Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate
Light 0/0
Death 0/0
Nature 0/1
Mage 1/1
War 0/2
Deception 0/0
Overall 1/4 25%
Overall:
Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate
Light 1/1
Death 1/1
Nature 7/8
Mage 4/4
War 2/6
Deception 4/5
Overall 19/25 76%
Conclusion:
As we can see, the deck was doing fine in solar gold and ethereal diamond, however it started struggling in mythic.
Which is to be expected because I tried to keep the deck as cheap as possible.
However, I think with a little bit of improving and adding better cards that does not cost a lot, it can start performing well especially if it was piloted well of course!
There are a lot of war players who plays better than me and I do not usually play war a lot even though I enjoyed playing and testing it!
Keep in mind you can always reach a good, effective deck that does not cost a lot as long as you keep trying and improving and it can be from any god that you like!
That was it for this post, it was so much fun trying this deck for 25 games and I can not wait to test other playstyles and sharing them with you all <3
