A legendary pack is mine 😀 And I am in Mythic next WR again! 🙂
Which One Is Better?
So the post of made me doubt if my choice of Heroic Brawler was the best. Sneaky Bruiser, as an alternative, looked very tempting - hidden 6/4 creature ready to use for hitting the face, moreover, it belongs to Guild... But Heroic Bruiser is a better support for low-mana creatures in their struggle for the board control. What to choose?
So on a weekday, I tried playing my Deception deck from the last WR and won only 2 games out of 5 in Mythic. I stopped because I was afraid of losing the tier. I didn't like the experience.
Then, I realised one thing: Sneaky Bruiser and Heroic Brawler are both correct answers. Yes, Heroic Brawler stops buffing when stonger Sneaky Bruiser appears on the board ... But ... I decided this is ok. Creatures die so soon... And, look, every time I play against Magic, I am waiting these big creatures like Heroic Bruisers and Guild Enforcers so long... Better to have more!

So my idea was to creature 2 groups:
1) Low-mana group
- Low-mana hidden creatures,
- strength-stealers,
- Bound by Her Will.
This group is supposed to deal against Aggro decks, Nature, Light first of all. Taking control of the board. With the support of Heroic Brawlers, Reflection Elementalists, and Guild Enforcers.
2) 5-mana group
Eight 5-mana creatures:
- 2 Guild Enforcers
- 2 Hero Brawler
- 2 Sneaky Bruisers
- 2 Reflection Elementalists
This group is supposed to deal with Magic and also other domains /archetypes that survived the low-mana group.
Also
More Aggro
I also added 1 Selfless Guildmate.
Less Rapture Dance
I decided to have only 1 Rapture Dance this time. Because too many 5-mana cards, first of all.
The Nemean Lion
I keep having the Nemean Lion in my deck. This is a real assassin of MJ Deception decks.
Turn 4, I have 25 stats on the boards + 2 Wards. This is because almost every creature from this deck buffs the Nemean Lion.
Results
I was preparing to encounter Magic, previously my worst matchup. But despite the statistics
I only played 3 games (12%) against Magic.
| Domain | I won | I lost |
|---|---|---|
| Deception | 5 (62%) | 3 (38%) |
| Magic | 2 (67%) | 1 (33%) |
| Nature | 4 (80+%) | 1 (bug) |
| Relic War | 1 (25%) | 3 (75%) |
| Light | 2 (100%) | - |
| Death | 1 (33%), Anubians | 2 (67%), Anubians and BWD |
Relic War
This archetype was the most difficult.
They play almost no creatures on the board. They kill with buffed relics in the late game. They also ruin the opponent deck with Carnage before that. This is new experience for me so not easy to beat especially for that reason. I didn't have a plan how to deal with them... As the result, I won only 1 out of 4.
Blade of Styx buffed to strength 10...
Relic War decks I played against:
How It Was
I lost first 2 games to Magic and Death and fell down to Ethereal Diamond. In Ethereal I did 8 wins out of 9 games. 😀 I lost only to a Deception guy with the Nemean Lion. Also, once I played without god power - a bug! - but I won! 😀
I returned to Mythic and won 7 games out of 13. I lost 1 more game to Nature - there was a bug. I could win - I won all games against Nature except this! 😡
WR in Screenshots
I included Sneaky Bruiser, first of all, to fight against Magic. But I encountered not many Mages. However, Sneaky Bruiser was very useful against Deception, too.
The second hero of the day: Heroic Brawler, hidden with god power, between buffed Elementalists.
Sneaky Bruiser + Shaped Blast + a booster = Dead Sneaky Bruiser 😞
The only game against Relic War I won. Buffed Sneaky Bruiser + copied Scythes of the Harvest.
The dessert...
Weakened Guild Enforcer is another classical delicacy for Bound by Her Will
My MJ Rewards For the Last WR
I had 11/25 in Mythic a week ago: 3 MJ Rare, 1 MJ Epic + "What a Mortal!" (one more 1 MJ Rare) for 30+ wins on the weekend.
An epic card in a Rare pack.
Shadow Lethargy Mage. Nice
My fifth Sneaky Bruiser ... Lucky me :)
Nothing so special
Forrestheart Dryad! When I got this, I decided to buy the second one. Maybe good for my potential big beast deck based on this.
Thank you for stopping by! And good luck for your WR!
