Hello Gods on chain community! I just subscribed here and I feel excited to see so many informative and interesting posts which can help me improve my game cause I am not new only new in this community, but I am also a new Gods Unchained player.
I have started to play the game ten days ago and I admit that it was very difficult at the beginning. I was losing 90% of the battles and I was feeling very disappointed and confused with so many pieces of information that I had to digest. Fortunately, with the help of youtube and 
I know that nobody cares about my progress on the game but I want to share it within the community in order to make some new players understand that you grow very quickly in the game and you should not get disappointed by the losses, they are a part of the game. Also in this post I will write about some things about the game that I wish I knew earlier, now I would be in a bigger rank, So let's begin!!! I will guide you through my experience to avoid some mistakes I was doing and I will write about
Read the cards Roars, spells etc!!!
When I started to play the game, I did not pay much attention to what was written on the cards. I was only calculating the mana cost, the defense, and the attack. Unfortunately, I was paid attention only to numbers and this was my biggest mistake. Now I read carefully all of my cards and I make the most of the ability of every card. In addition to I read my opponent's cards and so I formulate my strategy.
Make your own decks and update them regularly!!
The first days I started playing I used only the starter deck and some random I was finding at gudecks but my results were disappointing. When I started to make my own decks I show a significant change in my gameplay. While you are creating your own decks, you take the time to read all the cards and learn more about them and lastly choose the cards that will help you win. Also as you grow at the game and earn more cards update your decks and use your new more powerful cards. Please consider using many low mana cards for the rounds that you have low mana.
Mana
Another very important mistake I was doing is that I was wasting my mana. Sometimes I was clicking the mana expansion button and my mana remained the same. Over time I realized that after the sixth mana bar, mana grows by 1 every two rounds, and after the eighth, every 3 rounds. So I learned to use my mana wiser and I stopped wasting it.
Check the void!!!
At the right of your screen on the game, there are two holes. On the upper hole, there are the dead creatures of your enemy and at the downhole are yours. It is advised to check the void for many reasons one of them is that some cards allow you to return some cards from the void, so it is good to know what cards the voids contain. The other reason is that sometimes things happen so quickly and you do not know where the damage came from. The void can give you answers!
Favors
One more important thing about the game is favors which make you able to buy low mana cards from the sanctum at their price is between 13 to 17 favor. You gain favor by attacking the god and the creatures but the seconds need to die in order to gain the favors. If you kill a creature but yours die too, you do not gain any favor. At the first round, you gain one favor per attack, at the second two, and finally at the third, and in the upcoming rounds, you earn 3 per attack. So play wisely to earn more favors because they can be very helpful sometimes.
Frontline cards.
The first decks I made were full of frontlines. I was thinking that it is good to play with a defensive strategy but things did not work very well. Frontline cards can offer you safety but not for long because usually, they do not have big strength and they can't do big damage and kill the opponent's creatures. If your opponent suddenly kills all of your frontlines your god is not only exposed to the opponent's attack but you also are one step behind because you do not have strong creatures to attack. Furthermore, f you spend your mana mostly in frontlines you won't earn many favors because you won't make big damage to the creatures.
Star store
When you play ranked battles except of flux you earn stars which you can use them to buy cards from the star store. Do not ignore the star store because sometimes you can find very good cards which are unlocked. They are not minted in the blockchain yet but who knows? Maybe one day the game will put them in our wallets. Also playing with unlocked cards gives you more chances to earn more GOD. The star store sells 4 cards. Two of them are renewed every 24 hours and the other two every week. So do not forget to check the star store daily, you never know what goodies you will find.
