The weekend is here, Holy Saturday, Dad reminded, although I won't attend any mass today. Taking another time off from the real world, go ghost or lay low and just be. I feel so beaten, even after a few days' rest. Maybe tomorrow, I'll be more alive and kicking. It's Easter after all, so we might go out and hunt some bunnies and eggs somewhere.
But before that, let me just get on with last week's progress update on two of my goals shared with the Saturday Savers Club. The truth is, I considered dropping everything and going quiet for some time, but I realized keeping on would at least make me use my time productively and keep my mind away from wandering to distant and dark crevices, so yeah, I'll be sticking around😊
Anyhow, back to the goals, here's how the numbers played out:
Stacking Sats (BTC)
- Week 16: 143,546 sats (0.00143 BTC)
- Week 15: No update
- Week 14: 126,049 sats (0.00126 BTC)
About 17,497 Sats were added in the last two weeks. No manual buys as I barely had the chance to check the market, but I am glad the auto-buys are still up, topping up the balance by 13.88% in 14 days. Not bad, huh? It's pretty consistent with the average growth of around 6.5% weekly.
With Bitcoin's price hovering under $90k, I think it's still good to continue stacking slowly, especially since this is for the long term.
HBD Savings
- Week 16: 1,475 HBD
- Week 15: No update
- Week 14: 1,426 HBD
There was an increase of 49 HBD in weeks 15th and 16th, about 35% of it was the interest received from last month's savings, and the rest was manually staked. Still nice, even when I did not create and publish any content for almost a week.
With the current balance, I'm a little over 1k HBD away from my year-end goal. Although something tempts me to take some out, I'm thinking things through first, or I may regret it later. So for now, my savings are safe, lol!
Hive Power
While I did not specify any target for my Hive Power, I'm keen on growing it, so I am a bit chuffed to see it has now crossed the 25k mark (25,165 HP atm), so yay!
Setting realistic goals certainly inspires and motivates us to keep going even in the dire times. It's like having a map that guides and leads us to where we want to go.
So I'm thankful to the SS Club for the initiative that encourages us to make goals and work toward them at our own pace. That also helps us cultivate personal accountability.
Well, that's it from me today and here's to wishing everyone a fantastic weekend and Happy Easter to those who are honoring or celebrating the season.
