It's the first day of May, and I say a happy new month to every one of you out there.
I'm privileged to see my birth month, and my birthday is fast approaching. I appreciate God for who he is.
This morning, I want to share the news I got this morning on my phone. It's been a while since I paid attention to some news, but I decided to do that today because it caught my attention.
Sincerely speaking, our society is losing our young adults to the world at a very tender age. This occurs as a result of bad parenting, and peer pressure influence.
This has affected our young generation. They're laid astray by the ones who think they know it all. It's high time our society starts doing the right thing.
Earlier this morning, I had a message on my phone, so I decided not to open it until I finished my morning prayers.
So, after my morning prayers, I decided to open it. Behold, the news I got was somehow pathetic and encouraging at the same time.
I heard there's a secret cult group known as AYE Confraternity. Otherwise known as Neo Black Movement (NBM). It has its headquarters in Benin City, here in Nigeria.
It is said that the confraternity was established in the year (1977 ) by the male students of the University of Benin.
According to the reporter, the confraternity, as the name suggests, was meant to focus on the Pan-African struggles.
But it turned out that it focused no more on Pan-African struggles but on riots.
The news has it that some young guys who happened to be a part of that group or organization tend to use violence and shading of blood to achieve whatever they want.
But come to think of it, the organizational goals weren't meant for that.
They went ahead to build their National Headquarters at Benin, Edo state. So due to the high rate of violence, tears, and pain they've caused, the people of that land, the Edo State Government went to their National Headquarters to demolish that building.
They succeeded in doing that. Believe me, there will be a very serious problem in the state if care is not taken.
Where are the young people of this generation heading? And why are they always making their parents weep because of their evil doings?
Note that young adults are expected to be the leaders of tomorrow, but with the way things are going, do you think our society will be better?
Young adults must think before they act. The secret cult doesn't pay, but rather, it will make you live a fake and fearful life.
Such a person won't be able to move freely when others are moving, and their life span won't be as long as it was supposed to be.
The reason is that they've used their hands to cut short their lives, all in the name of cultism. Ever since I was born, I've not seen anyone whose cultism has elevated.
Never, on can be elevated by shading people's blood when the Bible warned us not to. Blood is precious before God, and so are our lives.
Our young adults must learn to refrain from evil so that our society will be at peace. There's nothing good about war.
War can render a place desolate, and that's why there's a need for peace. Please, let's strive for people and let our government also do its best by putting in all its efforts to make sure that everyone is protected.
