Greetings my fellow Hivers! It's a privilege to have you here in this space. You're all welcome to my blog.
This afternoon I want to share my experience on Self-discipline and Self-development.

What is self-discipline?
Self-discipline is the process by which an individual regulates his thoughts as well as his mind to achieve something tangible.
Anyone who is self-disciplined doesn't do what others are doing. He or she would always go for long-term projects.
Such individuals are self-centered, and they tend to be focused on whatever they're doing in life.
Self-development, on the other hand, refers to the ability of an individual to learn or acquire a specific life skill.
Self-development is very crucial because it's a deliberate and purposeful act. Self-development doesn't end when an individual succeeds in acquiring a certain skill; it also entails working towards it.
Why must we discipline and also develop ourselves?
The following, are the reasons we must discipline and also develop ourselves.
(1) Personal Growth: Self-development leads to a high rate of self-awareness, often resulting in a more fulfilled and realistic life.
(2) Self-discipline increases our level of confidence. In a natural sense, one who hasn't developed his or herself can't be confidente no matter what.
So self-discipline and self-development have more impact on the life of an individual.
(3) Enhanced well-being: Self-discipline and development can serve or contribute to both mental and physical health, thereby leading to a high standard of living.
(4) Self-discipline, and Self- Development helps one to adapt to a certain system within a speculated or short period. And within this period, such individuals tend to be more productive than before.
You see! Respect doesn't come from our wealth, position, and the class we belong to. But it comes as a result of our hard work and preparation.
There's one popular bible version that says we should be diligent in everything we do. It's a valid fact because no success comes with ease.
There's always a bitter side to the story. Though the beginning part of it is always hard to cope with, the result is always worth it.
Never stop disciplining yourself, because that's the only way you can improve in all spheres of life. Self-discipline and self-development are the key.
Always discipline yourself no matter what. Do not compromise when others do. Always tell yourself you can make it even when you don't have all the necessary tools to make it happen.
Thank you for your time
