Good morning my fellow Hivians.Today is Sunday, and I hope we'll be going to church to appreciate him for making every one of us see the last Sunday in November. It's a great privilege.
Today, I want to share my thoughts with you on what I title Visions awaits its time.
Ever since I grew up I've heard people's views about vision and how it works. We're in the world, and we learn every day by listening to people when they talk and by also being observant of our surroundings.
What is vision?
A vision is an image that depicts a future event. It has so many things to do with our lives. It is through vision that God reveals his purpose to men who have dedicated themselves to his work.
I've seen people who don't believe in visions or dreams. They see it as something demonic. But I tell you it has nothing to do with demons.
I hardly dream, but for vision, it does come. Visions are powerful if we know how to interpret them.
Note: No matter how long your vision may tarry, it will surely come to pass. I will be reading from the King James' version.
I will be reading from Habakkuk 1: 1 _ 17. And secondly, Habakkuk 2: 2_3.
Please permit me to give a summary of Chapter One as a whole before I analyze the second one.
Chapter One talks about a man called Habakkuk. He was passing through tribulations in the hands of his enemies. And each time that occurred, he cried to God for help.
He pleaded with God to deal with his enemies, but God was still looking at him.
He had a vision but it wasn't plain. He failed to understand that every vision awaits its time. And one thing I noticed is the fact that any time we're on the right track, we don't suffer the way other people do.
In chapter 2:1, Habakkuk said: I will take my stand to watch, and station myself on the tower, and look forth to see what he will say to me. And what I will answer concerning my complaint.
2:2: And the Lord answered me: write the vision;
Make it plain upon tablets,
So he may run who reads it.
2:3 Foe still the vision awaits it's time;
It has to the end; it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
It will site come, it will not delay.
I'm using these passages to tell you that no matter the time the vision was shown to you, if the time for your manifestation is not ripe, you can never be who God wishes you to be.
Never kill yourself because you feel God has failed in his promises. Let's assume you had a vision, and each time you pray, you keep reminding God. But because what you saw, didn't take effect as you expected, you started giving up on visions .
If you're not a visioner
then you're missing out.
The servants of God wanted to see what God would do to his enemies, but surprisingly, he was asked to write everything he showed him.
God also told him that though those visions and may tarries, they would come to manifestation.
That is how we ought to be. Write your visions, and wait till the time is ripe.
