Good afternoon everyone, it's good to have you in this space. You're all welcome to my blog.
I want to share my view with you on what I title We Are Strangers on Earth. Have you ever thought of this?
If not, it's high time you start thinking about this.
We were all sent into this world for a purpose. But the question is, how have you been able to fulfill your purpose on Earth? Or you're still thinking that the world is an everlasting place?
No, it's not. We are strangers on earth.
Who Is A Stranger?
A stranger is someone who is sent to a particular community to study the environment, get to know people who are staying there, and also try his or her best to fulfill his or her mission in that community.
Note: Though we're in the world, there are certain things that we're still ignorant about.
Being in the world doesn't mean, we're the owner.
We were sent as representatives of Christ.
In every passing day, we must always remember that we have a great task ahead of us, and by so doing, we should be vigilant. We should not do whatever pleases us because we've been allowed to be in the world.
When our Lord Jesus Christ came into the world, he came in the form of a human. When he grew up, he started his earthly ministry at the age of thirty.
That was the appointed time. When he started his ministry, some people were envious of him, while some were excited about it. That didn't stop him from fulfilling his father's mission.
I can recall the time before his crucifixion. He ate the last supper with his disciples, and he also poured the holy spirit on them, on the day of Pentecost..He fortified them.
When the hour of his death was near, he called on his disciples to watch and pray, when they were in the garden of Gethsemane. But they didn't understand until the time he was taken.
The point I'm trying to make now is that he operated in his ministry, just for a while. He knew the world, wasn't an everlasting place.
The same people he saved, were the ones who accused him wrongly.
No wonder the bible says that man shall not live forever. This is a soft reminder that the life we're living was borrowed. And any time we might be called to return it to the one who gave us, we must obey.
Life is too short for us to joke with. If Jesus Christ could leave the world, who are we?
It's quite unfortunate that some people don't understand how they should live their lives. I met a young lady some time ago. There was something she did, and an elderly person cautioned her, but she picked offense.
She told the person that she wanted to live her life in a way that pleased her and not the way that pleased him.
Our lives are not our own. We should be conscious of how we use it so that if we're called home, God will be pleased with us.
Don't always forget that you're a stranger here on earth.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog.
