A pessimistic attitude is an attitude that views a situation or situation negatively and tends to give up before competing. Pessimism is the opposite of optimism. Someone who has an optimistic attitude is very enthusiastic if they want to start a job, but those who are pessimistic are usually less enthusiastic, indifferent and even apathetic. So many people say that a pessimistic attitude is a bad attitude because it will reduce enthusiasm for activities. The question is whether a pessimistic attitude is needed or should it be eliminated altogether?
I don't mean to be patronizing or pretentious, but in this post I only have my opinion based on several sources that I often read and also experience from associating with fellow friends. From several written sources that I have read and also by witnessing directly in association, a pessimistic attitude is still needed as far as we can control it. Because with a controlled pessimistic attitude makes a person more realistic.
Some pessimistic attitudes in controlled circumstances will make a person have the following attitudes:
Always be careful and thorough in work. A controlled pessimistic attitude makes a person always be careful in preparing a work program and will think about everything that might hinder his work program.
More ready to accept the result of a failure. A controlled pessimistic attitude will make someone more accepting of the results of a failure and make that failure may come from planning that is not mature enough. He didn't instantly ignite the other party from his failure.
Always be alert. A pessimistic attitude that is in a controlled state makes a person always alert but does not mean suspecting other parties. He will be alert to any possibility of failure.
Those are some of my opinions which state that a pessimistic attitude in controlled circumstances is still needed. What about your opinion?
