Love is the most beautiful thing that can ever happen to anyone, because love is said to be the greatest in all things, Love has a voice that speaks louder, through words of affirmation, act of service, gifts etc. Love is not blind, deaf and dumb😄, it has it's language and when communicated it's impact will be felt.
To me love is as important as the air we breath, because everything that exists around us naturally or with human effort is a clear indication and expression of love, and it is part of what creates beautiful memories. It surprised me that even animals understand the language of love, and also express it, that is how beautiful love is. As much as love is a beautiful thing and it is expressed by everyone, I then asked myself why then is there pains, death and heartbreaks, why is finding true love difficult? Seeing the recent trends, love has been diluted seeing some persons loving for their selfish interest, and when the reasons for their love is no more there, they jumped and professed it to another leaving behind pains and heartbreaks, which odd not to be so. I understand that love is supposed to be selfless, because out of the abundance that we have that we give out, which implies that we can't love anyone better until we love ourselves, I have not seen anyone hurt themselves, nor find pleasure in the pains they feel, rather they find a way to relieve themselves, that is how love is supposed to be, knowing that love does not bring pains and hurts and does not boost in self.
While finding true love we also need to prepare ourselves, being ourselves, staying happy, taking things slowly, maintaining an open mind, taking care of ourselves, and focusing on effective communication which helps. But even with this we need to groom ourselves in case of necessity, nobody plans for heartbreaks, but building ourselves prevents some mistakes and pains from reoccurring.
Understanding that people's definition of true love varies widely, because healthy love often involves respect, trust, honesty, communication, compatibility, and understanding.

Love cannot only be proclaimed but it has to be practical, before it is said to be genuine. Even the Bible records that love is the greatest gift. Some bible characters like Rebecca had to take risks and even claim a curse upon herself because of love.
Love goes beyond the verbal declaration, it goes deep, knowing that love grows, it does not remain dormant, when love grows it displays and phases that have not been seen or expressed. True love is all about understanding and accepting each other's uniqueness regardless its expressions and differences. Also true love builds, shapes, and impacts each other's life positivity, true love is being selfless, trustworthy, and having genuine connections, it is about accepting each other’s flaws and recognizing strengths in one another, and this requires Patience and understanding rather than expecting 100% perfect lover.
I'm not perfect, I strive daily to perfection, at first I thought that there was no true love because of my past experience of love, until I experienced true love. It was at the peak of life where I thought all hope is gone, nothing is left for me, I almost gave up, that I met this wonderful person, and he changed my perspective about love, I was now meant to understand that love is patience, kind, it does not envy, it's not proud, its not easily angry, it is not selfish, it does not keep records of wrongs, it's not happy in evil, but rather it trust, protect, and encourage. Since then I grow daily to love more, and that has helped me.
True love involves discipline, in loving ourselves we discipline it, subjecting some of our desires, if it cannot be afforded. Discipline may not seem pleasant but when love is included, it brings peace of mind, putting us back on the right track.
True love is beautiful when it is expressed with liked minds. True love understands, tolerates, encourages, and celebrates each other's success, it brings happiness and peace of mind, helps fulfill each other's dreams.
