Sitchin wrote that 600 came down to earth. They were called "Annunaki". 300 stayed in space. They were called ”Igigi". I have heard conflicting stories to this one. Does anyone know the name of the source texts and their English translation that refer to the Igigi.
In the Sitchin paradigm, there was a rebellion on the planet Nibiru, lead and won by Annu. Could the Annunaki have been genetically engineered as a mining race? This is a rabbit hole that goes deep. I have spent a lot of time thinking about it. I'm willing to entertain friendly suggestions.
