Wow, what a night on Monday Night Raw!
Family drama boiling over on every one of them makes for some seriously heated moments out there in that ring.
First off, The New Day.
Poor Xavier Woods!
The big fella is struggling without Big E around, and now it looks like Kofi's keeping secrets from him too. I get why Xavier's mad, you're just supposed to be on the same page when you are tag team partners. That being said, Kofi is not completely wrong, either. Going against a group like Judgment Day does call for some backing. The situation in both ways is tough to go through, and you can feel the tension right between these two longtime friends.
Speaking of tension, what about Pete Dunne and Sheamus?
These guys used to be tight, but now Pete, or should I say Butch, is out for blood. He's not fighting fair, to say the least. Using foreign objects to get the upper hand?
Not cool, dude.
But I can somewhat understand it. Pete feels that his boy Sheamus did him wrong, and he's lashing out in retaliation.
It's like when you're mad at your brother, and you just want to make his life miserable. I hope these two can work this out, but something tells me it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
And don't even get me started on Judgment Day!
Talk about a dysfunctional family. Finn's acting like some sort of jealous ex, Rhea's stuck in the middle, and poor Damian's trying to work out where he stands. It's a real soap opera in the ring!
That one touch when Rhea reached out for Damian and Liv tried to keep them apart? Man, that hit me right in the feels. You can tell the connection's still there, despite all this bad blood flowing.
That's just crazy, all these storylines about family and friends: missing a friend, being betrayed by a friend or close person, a messy breakup, and finally, wrestlers are wrestling with stuff to which we can all relate.
Sure, most of us don't decide to duke it out in the ring, but emotions run real. That's what makes wrestling great to watch: not the moves, not the titles, but the drama, the relationships. These wrestlers aren't just characters, they are real people with feelings and complicated histories. And right now, it seems like everyone is dealing with some serious family drama.
