In 2021, Ahsoka Tano made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian, and Hasbro wasted no time in adding her latest appearance to the 6-inch Black Series figure line. Ahsoka was released around April 2022, although I didn't get my hands on her until December.

On the side and rear illustration of the box, Ahsoka played by Rosario Dawson is shown in the city of Corvus where Mando finds her in episode 5. The amber-toned illustration is repeated on the back of the box, along with the usual brief and non-specific background text. This is figure number 19 in The Mandalorian line.

Ahsoka is a completely new sculpt for this release, and her outfit on Corvus is faithfully recreated with silver armored boots and wristbands with dark blue ribbons. Loose-fitting pants, a belted waist, and upper tunics with a green tint in the vest section are also included. The arm wraps are detailed with cutout sections that reveal Ahsoka's dark tan skin tone underneath. Other notable details include a silver closure on her belt, with silver tassels on the sides, and multiple hanging strands on the back, all made of flexible plastic. Additionally, the body does not have visible joint pins and is designed in such a way that all joints are aesthetically fluid, making it one of the most impressive designs in terms of aesthetics in this type of figure.
El esculpido de la cabeza es igual de impresionante con una semejanza perfecta a Rosario Dawson tal y como se ve en el episodio. Además, se mejoró con decoración fotorealista impresa en su rostro y sobre esto se aplicaron las marcas faciales blancas de Ahsoka en una alineación perfecta. Su diadema es de un color marrón sencillo, con tres segmentos de plata incrustados. Más allá de esto, sus "montrals" y "lekku" (lo que está en su cabeza) son de menor longitud que en la serie animada, esto por cuestiones de practicidad para la actriz. Además, tienen un tono ligeramente blanco con marcas azules, aplicadas de forma natural y fiel a la pantalla. The sculpting of the head is equally impressive, with a perfect likeness to Rosario Dawson as seen in the episode. It was further enhanced with photorealistic decoration printed on her face, and on top of this, Ahsoka's white facial markings were applied in perfect alignment. Her headband is a simple brown color, with three silver segments embedded in it. Beyond this, her "montrals" and "lekku" (what's on her head) are of shorter length than in the animated series, for practical reasons for the actress. They also have a slightly white tone with blue markings, applied naturally and faithfully to the screen. The paint on the head and body is excellent, with no paint errors, splatters or mistakes observed.
Con respecto a accesorios, tenemos dos sables de luz con una hoja blanca. Las empuñaduras presentan esculpido nuevo. Regarding accessories, we have two lightsabers with a white blade. The hilts feature new sculpting. They are simply decorated with a silver finish and some small black details around the inlaid section and grips. The white blades are less translucent than usual, so they may appear a bit opaque. The hilts have loops to attach them to the hooks on Ahsoka's belt once the blades have been removed.

There are a total of 19 points of articulation, including the double-jointed neck and a pair of well-hidden butterfly shoulder joints that are located inside and function under the vest. There is also innovation in the legs with a knee joint hidden behind the pleated pants, and a thigh joint that is invisible from the front through the shaping of the upper thigh to cover the joint and allow the leg to pivot from the back. Although all of this seems impressive, you might expect some level of sacrifice in the figure's mobility, but that's not really the case. Despite the size and volume of the legs, Ahsoka can still kneel and crouch and achieve a variety of action poses. The arms are fully mobile for posing with the lightsaber, and body positions are supported with another hidden joint at the waist. Each joint is firm and secure.
Ahsoka es realmente una afirmación de lo que la Black Series puede y debería ser para los coleccionistas. Ahsoka is truly a testament to what the Black Series can and should be for collectors. This figure is of the highest quality in terms of sculpt, paint application, and articulation, and shows a level of innovation that truly enhances the figure's appearance without sacrificing any of the joints. The only complaint could be with the accessories, which are only two lightsabers. Perhaps they could have added her cloak like the Ahsoka edition that comes with Grogu and Mando.
