Creo que la mayoría ubicamos a Mando, de la serie El Mandaloriano de la franquicia de Star Wars, y si no solo basta con recordar al pequeño Grogu (baby Yoda). Hace tiempo ya había subido algunas fotos de esta figura (ver aquí), más nunca subí el video del "unboxing" (al final terminó siendo un unboxing muy rápido) que le había hecho ni la revisión, así que aprovechando les dejo la siguiente información.
La figura correspondiente es la número 94 de la línea vieja de las cajas rojas con negro. Sin embargo, está fue presentada en una versión exclusiva, con la caja y la pintura de la figura metalizada. Fue exclusiva de Target en Estados Unidos. En México. la conseguí en una tienda Sears a unos 500 pesos mexicanos, aproximadamente unos 25 dólares. Existe la versión normal, que también tengo, pero aún está sin abrir. Próximamente les presentaré algunas imágenes. No hay mucha diferencia, solo la pintura realmente.
Most of us know Mando from The Mandalorian series of the Star Wars franchise, and if not, remember the little Grogu (baby Yoda). Some time ago, I had already uploaded some photos of this figure (see here). Still, I never uploaded the video of the "unboxing" (in the end, it ended up being a very quick unboxing) that I had done, nor the review, so taking advantage of this, I leave you the following information.
The corresponding figure is number 94 of the old line of the red and black boxes. However, this one was presented in an exclusive version, with the box and the painting of the figure metalized. It was exclusive to Target in the United States. In Mexico, I got it in a Sears store at about 500 Mexican pesos, approximately 25 dollars. There is the regular version, which I also have, but it is still unopened. Soon I will show you some pictures. There is not much difference, only the paint, really.
Comenzando por la caja, es prácticamente igual en tamaño que las versiones normales rojas con negro. El color es un marrón metalizado reflectante con laterales cromados, se le agregó una leyenda donde se indica que es la edición "Carbonizada". Vemos en el frente la imagen de Mando y en la parte posterior una corta descripción en distintos idiomas, así como una imagen maximizada igual a la del frente. Mi caja presenta un pequeño golpe en la parte superior. Sinceramente, no recuerdo como pasó eso.
Starting with the case, it is practically the same size as the regular red and black versions. The color is a reflective metallic brown with chrome sides. A legend was added indicating that it is the "Carbonized" edition. We see on the front the image of Mando and on the back a short description in different languages and a maximized image just like the one on the front. My box has a small bump on the top. Honestly, I don't remember how that happened.
Hablando del esculpido del cuerpo del mandaloriano, tenemos un nuevo molde y un casco con visor en forma de T, el cual presenta un acabado en plateado con el visor en negro. Cuidaron mucho los detalles al hacerlo, ya que en el casco se agregaron detalles en marrón haciendo parecer que está desgastado.
Speaking of the Mandalorian body sculpt, we have a new mold and a T-shaped visor helmet, which features a silver finish with the visor in black. They took excellent care with the details in doing so, as brown details were added to the helmet, making it look like it is worn.
Al ver el cuerpo da la impresión de que la figura está armada por partes. Al inicio creí que le podía quitar algunas piezas como las hombreras y musleras, pero no es posible. En el cuerpo se utilizan muchos colores, como el marrón, plateado, gris, beige y azul, todo con toques metalizados. Presenta ciertos detalles para simular desgaste en los paneles, de hecho, si no se tiene cuidado, se le puede hacer un desgaste real muy fácil. La pintura es delicada.
Seeing the body gives the impression that the figure is assembled in parts. In the beginning, I thought I could remove some pieces, such as shoulder pads and thigh pads, but it is not possible. Many colors are used on the body, such as brown, silver, gray, beige, and blue, all with metallic touches. It presents specific details to simulate wear on the panels. In fact, if you are not careful, you can make real wear very easy. The paint is delicate.
El cinturón y la carrillera son de plástico blando, al igual que la capa. Hubiera preferido que el material de esta capa fuera de tela, aunque se puede quitar muy fácilmente. Veré si después le hago una capa de tela.
The belt and cheekpiece are made of soft plastic, as is the cape. I would have preferred the material of this cape to be cloth, although it can be removed very easily. I'll see if I can make a cloth cape later.
Con respecto a las armas, el mandaloriano trae una pistola blaster y un rifle. La pistola tiene un acabado plateado metálico con la empuñadura en color café metálico. Queda perfectamente en la mano derecha, es algo complicado poderla colocar, pero una vez puesta queda perfecta. Esta pistola se puede colocar en la funda del cinturón. Solo hay que levantar la correa con tapón.
Regarding weapons, the Mandalorian comes with a blaster pistol and a rifle. The gun has a metallic silver finish with a metallic brown grip. It fits perfectly in the right hand. It is a little complicated to place it, but once set, it is perfect. This pistol can be placed in the belt holster. Just lift the strap with the plug.
Además de la pistola, cuenta con un rifle de cañón largo con dos puntas, mejor conocido como rifle de francotirador ambano. Con esta arma es capaz de electrocutar y desintegrar a sus enemigos. Esta arma es de color marrón metálico, marrón oscuro y plateado en la punta. Es un tanto difícil de colocar en las manos, ya que no tiene empuñadura, pero una vez colocada queda estupenda.
In addition to the pistol, he has a long-barreled rifle with two prongs, better known as the Ambano sniper rifle. With this weapon, he can electrocute and disintegrate his enemies. This weapon is metallic brown, dark brown, and silver at the tip. It is somewhat tricky to place in the hands, as it has no grip, but once set, it looks great.
El rifle se puede colocar en la espalda, para dar el efecto como si la trajera colgando. Para ello debe insertarse en un pequeño agujero en la espalda y en la carrillera de goma. Hay que forzar un poco esta carrillera, ya que no es muy flexible que digamos.
The rifle can be placed on the back to give the effect as if it were hanging. It must be inserted into a small hole in the back and into the rubber cheekpiece. This cheekpiece has to be forced a little, as it is not very flexible.
La figura en total posee 19 puntos de articulación. En el cuello tiene articulación de 360° y se puede girar hacia arriba y hacia abajo. En los hombros tiene articulación de mariposa, aunque las hombreras limitan el movimiento. Hay articulación en el torso, en los brazos, muñecas, muslos, rodillas y tobillos.
The figure has a total of 19 points of articulation. The neck has 360° articulation and can be rotated up and down. The shoulders have butterfly joints, although the shoulder pads limit the movement. There is articulation in the torso, arms, wrists, thighs, knees, and ankles.
Definitivamente, es una figura muy buena, aunque realmente no sean los colores fieles a los de la serie. El color metálico hace que destaque enormemente contra la versión regular, la cual verán próximamente. Lamentablemente, su pintura es muy delicada y al mínimo roce esta se cae fácilmente.
Definitely, a very nice figure, even if the colors are not really true to the series. The metallic color makes it stand out significantly against the regular version, which you will see soon. Unfortunately, its paint is very delicate, and at the slightest rubbing, it falls off quickly.
Es una gran figura. Si tienen la oportunidad de conseguirla se las recomiendo ampliamente, 10 de 10.
