I guess for the majority of us, Steem as a blockchain and crypto project is starting to fade away and probably just a few are still active on both chains. I was one of such persons and as much as I tried to keep up with this personal challenge I failed it.
It's true that I don't have too much time anymore to do that, as I used to, but I also don't feel attracted any longer towards Steem. Cross posting there wasn't necessarily happening, in my case, as a thirst or longing for that blockchain. It was basically pure rewards pool milking, or lets say that milking some more Steem was weighing like 90% of my reasoning to do so, but lately even that doesn't make sense anymore.
Most of the curators that vote my posts have moved completely on Hive, and the payouts that I get in there are simply not worth the effort. Moreover, I post quite often Hive dedicated stuff and that simply doesn't work for Steem.
Such example is the #facesofhive community where I post quite often. Engagement is also quite discouraging on Steem, since most of the people that I enjoyed talking to, reading and commenting, have entirely moved to Hive. Oh, I almost forgot that, that blockchain and its trending page is starting to look completely Asian.
Nothing against Asians, but I get why I don't have decent curation and engagement on my posts over there. Overall, I am no longer incentivized to cross post to Steem and most certainly my Steem account will sooner or later become a dead account, and Hive my main blogging/social media platform.
What about you, are you still cross posting to Steem? Why are you, or aren't you doing that?
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
