How fascinating it is to think you can be so emotionally wrecked to the point of having an actual broken heart.
Apparently, Broken heart syndrome is a temporary heart condition that's often brought on by stressful situations and extreme emotions.
According to an article I read today, the most common signs and symptoms of broken heart syndrome are angina (chest pain) and shortness of breath. You can experience these things even if you have no history of heart disease.
Quick fact;
Most of the abnormalities in systolic function and ventricle wall movement clear up in one to four weeks, and most patients recover fully within two months. Death is rare, but heart failure occurs in about 20% of patients.
