The tech world has been wilding lately. And one of the major areas we can see this improvement, is the smartphone industry.
Mobile phone manufacturers aren't slowing down at all. I mean, check out the latest iPhone and Samsung devices. We are now seeing things we only saw in our imaginations. Well, they say if you can think it, you can make it.
For every upgrade on Smartphones, the camera systems seem to get better. Have you seen the photos taken with a Google Pixel 3a? Or the iPhone 11pro? Oh! Lest I forget, the Huawei P40 pro.
Being a professional photographer, I get scared sometimes that these revolution in Smartphones might be bad for business. I fear it'll get to a point were people will just decide to use their mobile phones to take photos.
But then, my consolation is in the fact that people don't pay for our camera, and gear. They pay us to use those gears. And it's because of our level of expertise.
So even if we have smartphone with cameras as good as an actual digital camera, there'll still be need for photographer to make something out of it.
Photography business is the skill of creating good photographs, irrespective of the gear.
Well, that's my opinion, what do you think?
