Well Hivers I guess I'm going to be spending a bit less time on Hive now.
The other day my old trusty PS3 gave up on me with a 'futt' noise, burning electrical smell and blew the fuse in the plug.
So I guess it was telling me it's time to invest in a new console which I have been putting off for ages to be honest.
I checked online and with the Amazon sale in a few days I decide to hang on a bit and I ordered the God of War edition which was a bit cheaper than even just the basic console. I'm not a great lover of role play games but £40 saving was a good price and not to be sniffed at.
I mostly used the PS3 for Gran Turismo 5 race sim so that got ordered GT7 for the PS5 at the same time as the new consul won't play PS3 game. Bloody hell how much!!!
Still it all arrived the other day and after an evening and several hours of setups an updates. God it's big console
I'm finally back behind the wheel well almost another thing the PS5 won't do is connect to my Logitech G27 race wheel in my home made race sim another bugger again. I need to get a Logitech G29 or higher system or an adaptor module so we will see how I get on with the standard controller for the moment. Which with with motion sense you can almost use it like a steering wheel anyway.
The new version of Gran Turismo is taking a bit of getting used but the controller is very responsive and I managed the podium top step in my first three races, but I am back at the beginning as it kicked me back to novice as it does not carry over anything from my PS3 GT5 profile. Mind you the graphics are absolutely amazing I am well impressed.
So There you have it Hivers if I'm not on line for the next few months you know why.
