Been working with a new guy this week, and I have asked him to be taking pictures, he should send me some good ones this weekend.
Here's a shot of some grassy knoll strats with black plastic (~21 days). This should give this tree a nice head start without being overwhelmed by the invasive grass.
We felled a bunch of huge bamboos and have been cleaning up. We built a firewood drying rack out of bamboo and also planted 5 dozen congo leaf plants. The contours continue to be developed, progress is really good.
A number of different productive endeavors continue to be advanced.
I've always had this thought, maybe all writers have for all of eternity, but with the parlance of our time -
Is this a shitpost?
Perhaps its a self-conscious reflection of too much thinking. Farm work is good for that. And I enjoy working around the farm, continuing our design and implementation processes.
Did you know you can make creosote and fuel-oil from firewood? On top of Charcoal (bioChar) and SynGas. This is my new project I can't stop thinking about building:

Just waiting for the world to end while planting new generations of fruit trees - the development of our agroforestry superstructure continues to surpass our every expectations. After all these years, there is hardly a space on the farm where the shovel does not come up black and rich organic soil.
Some person applauded my courage with the recent World-Ending War Update, I noticed a new piece of the narrative has fallen apart, the strange idea that Russia blew up its own pipeline.
In the meantime, I dream of achieving energy independence on my firewood farm. This is real, I'm going to do it. It can even power vehicles.
the Ruskies are specialists in this:
Let's see if I can get a first proto-type set up built, I am thinking it will look a bit like this one:
There is a lot to do, but I am excited to build a mini prototype refinery. The firewood production continues to grow, and we are very excited about that.
Are you building the new world you want to see? Certain groups are, the next phase is upon us. But I continue to be optimistic, the weird things that happen just confirm my certainty that what we do really matters, now more than ever.
So do me a favor and go do something. Hopefully something important - important to you!
