• The Paleolithic Era, often referred to as the Stone Age (it's only one part of the Stone Age), is the era that most people think of when they think of "cavemen."
• Cavemen died on average at the age of 25.
• They usually went to sleep 3 hours and 20 minutes after sunses and woke up before sunrise.
• Hunting and gathering were the only ways for cavemen to survive. As a result, despite their name, they did not live exclusively in caves and did not build permanent settlements. Shelters made of animal hides stretched across bones, wooden lean-tos, or dirt mounds were common among cavemen.
• For having fun (in a broadly sense) cavemen spent time with friends and family relaxing. If they had musical instruments, they played them or they could share stories, dance and sing.
• There's little evidence that clubs were ever a weapon for ancient humans.
• It is suggested that in order to capture and secure women, prehistoric men from rival tribes were willing to brutally fight and kill each other.
