"A Piece from a Broken Bottle"
So I decided to capture a scene from my every day life.
As a young and vibrant Nigerian youth, I experience moments when the weight of happenings around me causes me to take a break to reflect and reminisce the past against the present.
Do you sometimes wish to have the power to put back in place a piece from a broken bottle? It's how life is for me, a whole lot of figuring out to be made, paradoxes, and whole lots of stuffs that doesn't really add up and make sense.
This piece is typically how I usually am when my thoughts takes the larger part of me, I'd be lost and oblivious to my surrounding. I think it's a rare gift to be able to observe solitude in chaos.
I also decided to try out a different approach towards portraiture, going against the pencil strokes and using a blending stump instead It's been fun. 😇
