¿A quién no le gusta una buena Arepa?
Una Arepa con un buen relleno es una delicia, así es esta que están viendo en este dibujo, es el motivo de la discordia entre estos dos personajes.
Este dibujo se llama "PELEANDO POR UNA AREPA", y lo hice con motivo del día veinticinco (25) del Inktober 2021, en donde el tema para ese día era la palabra en inglés SPLAT, que al español traduce SALPICAR.
Ya en el día 25 del Inktober no quería hacer dibujos solo en blanco y negro, a medida que el Inktober iba avanzando también iba incorporando colores en los dibujos que iba haciendo para esta actividad, así lo verán en este dibujo.

Who doesn't like a good Arepa?
An Arepa with a good filling is a delight, this is the Arepa that you are seeing in this drawing, it is the reason why these two characters are fighting.This drawing is called "FIGHTING FOR AN AREPA", and I did it on the occasion of the twenty-fifth (25) day of Inktober 2021, where the theme for that day was the word SPLAT.
Already on day 25 of the Inktober I did not want to make drawings only in black and white, as the Inktober was advancing it was also incorporating colors in the drawings that I was making for this activity, as you will see in this drawing.
El Boceto:
Una vez que tenía la idea de lo que quería dibujar necesitaba una referencia para hacer el dibujo, así que me tomé una foto con mi hija simulando la pose que quería para los personajes.
The Sketch:
Once I had the idea of what I wanted to draw, I needed a reference to do the drawing, so I took a picture with my daughter simulating the pose I wanted for the characters.
Con esta foto hice un boceto preliminar en una hoja de papel bond usada para practicar y familializarme con las poses del dibujo.
He hecho esto con alguno de mis últimos dibujos, un boceto previo antes del boceto definitivo.
With this photo I made a preliminary sketch on a sheet of bond paper used to practice and familiarize myself with the poses of the drawing.
I have done this with some of my latest drawings, a previous sketch before the final sketch.
El segundo boceto lo hice en una cartulina opalina blanca tamaño carta, aquí ya sería el dibujo definitivo.
En un post posterior les mostraré un video en donde podrán ver todo el proceso de principio a fin, todo a manera de tutorial.
I made the second sketch on letter-size white opaline cardboard, here it would be the final drawing.
In a future publication I will be showing you a video where you can see the entire process from start to finish, all as a tutorial.
El Entintado:
Para el entintado utilicé un estilógrafo negro marca MICRON de 0.5 mm.
Fui haciendo sombras y achurados para dar volumen al dibujo.
The Inking:
For the inking I used a 0.5 mm MICRON brand black pen.I was making shadows and hatches to give volume to the drawing.
El Coloreado:
Para dar color al dibujo utilicé marcadores y colores Prismacolor, como dato les digo que cuando estén coloreado utilicen diferentes tonos de colores para que el coloreado quede mucho mejor, los diferentes tonos de colores le dan una mejor riqueza visual al resultado final.
The Colored:
To give color to the drawing I used markers and Prismacolor colors, as data I tell you that when you are colored try to use different shades of colors so that the coloring is much better, the different shades of colors give a better visual richness to the final result.
El Resultado Final:
Después de tres horas aproximadamente llegamos a un resultado final, un dibujo para el día 25 del Inktober 2021. Tema: Splat (salpicar). Muy al estilo Comic Americano.
The final result:
After approximately three hours we arrived at a final result, a drawing for the 25th day of Inktober 2021. Theme: Splat. Very American Comic style.
