Hola nuevamente amigos, en esta publicación voy a cambiar un poco de lo que les he venido mostrando en mis últimos posts, en esta oportunidad voy adejar descansar los rostros femeninos.
Quiero presentarles un trabajo que hice en el mes de marzo de este año 2022, y que no lo había mostrado todavía, tan solo algunos pequeños videos en Instagram y Tiktok, donde se ven algunas imágenes del proceso creativo. De hecho se me había olvidado este trabajo, lo encontré revisando una carpeta donde voy guardando todo lo que hago.

Hello friends again, in this publication I am going to change a little of what I have been showing you in my last publications, this time I am going to let the female faces rest.
I want to present to you a work I did in the month of March of this year 2022, and that I had not shown it yet, just some small videos on Instagram and Tiktok, where you can see some images of the creative process. In fact I had forgotten this work, I found it checking a folder where I keep everything I do.
VEAMOS EL PROCESO CREATIVO
El Boceto:
Para mí siempre lo primero es hacer un boceto de lo que voy a dibujar, solamente aquellas mentes elevadas pueden dibujar sin hacer un boceto.
Una forma de lograr que el personaje quede con una pose dinámica es hacer la línea de movimiento, esta línea te ayudará a marcar la pose del cuerpo y evitará que el personaje quede con una pose rígida.

The Sketch:
For me the first thing is always to make a sketch of what I am going to draw, only those high minds can draw without making a sketch.
One way to get the character to have a dynamic pose is to make the line of movement, this line will help you to mark the pose of the body and will prevent the character from being in a rigid pose.

Una vez hecho el personaje principal, el siguiente paso es resolver como sería el fondo de este trabajo, tenía una idea mas o menos de lo que quería, así que me apoye con el uso de un compás para hacer un círculo en la parte de atrás.
Once the main character is done, the next step is to decide what the background of this work would be like, I had an idea more or less of what I wanted, so I supported myself with the use of a compass to make a circle in the back.

El Proceso de Coloreado:
Para el coloreado utilicé pintura acrílica a base de agua, no había mucho problema con el tema de la superficie, ya que no era una hoja de papel base 20, en esta oportunidad utilicé una cartulina para acuarelas de 180 grs. No es tan gruesa pero funciona perfectamente.
Lo primero que empecé a pintar fue el fondo.
The Coloring Process:
For the coloring I used water-based acrylic paint, there was not much problem with the surface, since it was not a sheet of base 20 paper, this time I used a 180 gr watercolor card. This cardstock is not very thick but it works perfectly.
The first thing I started to paint was the background.
Muchos siguen un patrón para pintar, primero aplican un color base en toda la superficie donde van a pintar, y luego van haciendo detalles aplicando otros colores y definiendo las sombras y la luces; no está mal seguir este patrón, pero tampoco está mal dejarse llevar por lo que estés sientiendo en el momento que estas pintando. Yo me dejé llevar y empecé a aplicar detalles en el fondo.
Many follow a sequence to paint, first they apply a base color to the entire surface where they are going to paint, and then they make details by applying other colors and defining the shadows and lights; It's not bad to follow this sequence, but it's also not bad to get carried away by what you're feeling at the moment you're painting. I got carried away and started applying details in the background.
Hechos los detalles en la parte verde seguí con la otra parte del fondo de la pintura.
Made the details in the green part I continued with the other part of the background of the painting.
Les comento que tenía muchísimo tiempo que no dibujaba a Popeye, creo que desde que era un niño no lo dibujaba, y ahora de adulto me propuse hacerlo con poco de mi toque personal, el cual se puede ver en el fondo hecho especialmente para este Popeye.
I tell you that I had not drawn Popeye for a long time, I think that since I was a child I did not draw him, and now as an adult I decided to draw Popeye with a little of my personal touch, which can be seen in the background made especially for this Popeye.
Coloreando a Popeye:
Para colorear a Popeye obviamente utilicé una referencia, la misma referencia para hacer el dibujo, respeté los colores originales para hacer honor al personaje y sus creadores. La verdad me gustó mucho hacer a Popeye.
Coloring Popeye:
To color Popeye I obviously used a reference, the same reference to make the drawing, I respected the original colors to honor the character and his creators. I really liked doing Popeye.
El Resultado Final:
Después de varias horas divirtiéndome con la pintura de Popeye llegamos a un resultado final, que para mí es muy satisfactorio.

After several hours having fun with the painting of Popeye we arrived at a final result, which for me is very satisfactory.
Estimados amigos amantes del dibujo, las ilustraciones y el arte en general, espero que este trabajo hecho con el personaje Popeye sea del agrado de todos ustedes, para mí fue todo un placer hacerlo, disfruté mucho recordar aquellos tiempos de la infancia cuando veía a Popeye en la televisión.
