Beauty lies in simplicity

Buenas noches amigos. Hoy decidí pintar, pero tuve varios conflictos creativos en el proceso hasta que llegué a un punto donde decidí simplemente no amargarme demasiado la vida y hacer algo sencillo ya que al empezar tenia demasiadas ideas en mente, donde quería hacer algo extravagante. Finalmente termine haciendo un retrato sencillo pero que al menos fuese llamativo en colores y tambien trabaje mucho en las facciones del rostro para hacerla muy bonita, al final me sentí muy satisfecha y cómoda con el resultado, espero que les guste.

Today I decided to paint, but I had several creative conflicts in the process until I reached a point where I decided to simply not make my life too difficult and do something simple, since when I started I had too many ideas in mind and wanted to do something extravagant. In the end, I ended up doing a simple portrait, but at least it was striking in color, and I also worked hard on the facial features to make it very beautiful. In the end, I felt very satisfied and comfortable with the result. I hope you like it.

Realicé el boceto y elegí los colores para empezar a aplicarlos en la piel, esta vez decidí usar una combinación de tonalidades verdes oliva, beige, rosas y un poco de marrón, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle mejor forma al rostro, luego empecé a mezclar los colores de la piel con un acabado suave y una textura mínima. Luego pinte la ropa de un tono morado.

I made the sketch and chose the colors to start applying them to the skin. This time, I decided to use a combination of olive green, beige, pink, and a little brown tones. In a new layer, I added more colors to give the face a better shape, then I started to blend the skin colors with a soft finish and minimal texture. Then I painted the clothes a purple tone.

Agregue algo de luces y sombras a la ropa sin exagerar demasiado, luego pinte el cabello de un tono marrón claro y después le agregue luces y sombras usando naranja y marrón oscuro. Para el fondo utilicé diferentes colores que sustraje de la piel y mezclándolos para crear una textura circular. Como siempre me gusta agregar zonas rojizas en el rostro y por ello aplique rosa en la nariz, alrededor de los ojos y en el pecho. Para finalizar agregue algunos reflejos de luz en los ojos, nariz y labios.

Add some highlights and shadows to the clothing without overdoing it, then paint the hair a light brown shade and add highlights and shadows using orange and dark brown. For the background, I used different colors that I subtracted from the skin and mixed them to create a circular texture. As I always like to add reddish areas to the face, I applied pink to the nose, around the eyes, and on the chest. To finish, I added some highlights to the eyes, nose, and lips.
