Buenas noches amigos, hoy quise volver a practicar este tipo de retratos con efecto de óleo, hace mucho que no hacia esto ya que últimamente me he enfocado en realizar retratos con texturas muy suaves, como he comentado antes este tipo de retratos con efecto DE pintura me gustan mucho porque te permite tener un trazo mas libre, además hoy quise utilizar una paleta de color diferente a otras que he usado antes con tonos morados muy desaturados casi llegando a un tono gris, fue algo complicado manejar estos colores porque creo que nunca los había usado de esta manera, sin embargo, me gusto como quedo el resultado final.

Good evening friends, today I wanted to practice again this kind of portraits with oil painting effect, it has been a long time since I did this because lately I have focused on making portraits with very soft textures, as I said before I like this kind of portraits with oil painting effect because it allows you to have a more free stroke, also today I wanted to use a different color palette than others I have used before with very desaturated purple tones almost reaching a gray tone, it was somewhat complicated to handle these colors because I think I had never used them this way, however, I liked the final result.

Realice el boceto y elegí los colores a trabajar, esta vez usando marrones desaturados y algunos tonos morados igualmente desaturados, aplique las luces y sombras en el rostro y luego añadí otra capa donde agregue más tonalidades dándole por completo forma al rostro, en otra capa empecé a mezclar los colores usando un pincel con textura de oleo y dando trazos sin mucho cuidado para mantener la textura en el rostro, pero a la vez dejándolo bien definido, use un morado oscuro desaturado de fondo y luego empecé a pintar el cabello.

I made the sketch and chose the colors to work with, this time using desaturated browns and some purple tones also desaturated, I applied the lights and shadows on the face and then added another layer where I added more shades giving full shape to the face, in another layer I began to mix the colors using a brush with oil texture and giving strokes without much care to maintain the texture on the face, but at the same time leaving it well defined, I used a dark purple desaturated background and then I started to paint the hair.

Luego añadí reflejos de luz al cabello para darle forma, después de que estaba completamente listo el rostro empecé a jugar un poco con el pincel de oleo dándole texturas al fondo mezclándolo junto con la piel, finalice el dibujo editando la imagen aumentando el contraste y la saturación un poco.

Then I added light reflections to the hair to give it shape, after the face was completely ready I started to play a little with the oil brush giving textures to the background mixing it with the skin, I finished the drawing editing the image increasing the contrast and saturation a little bit.
