Saludos a todos, espero están pasando un bonito día, hice este dibujo para poner en práctica varios aspectos que he querido mejorar: el estilo cartoon, crear fondos para la figura principal, entre otros. Al final logré un dibujo que en lo personal me gustó bastante, con todo y sus fallos. Y bueno pues aquí está un resumen del procedimiento.
Greetings, I hope you are having a nice day, I made this drawing to put into practice several aspects I wanted to improve: the cartoon style, creating backgrounds for the main figure and so. In the end I achieved a drawing that I personally quite liked, with everything and its flaws. And well, here is a summary of the procedure.
Primero un lineart sencillo del concepto que quería hacer.
First a simple lineart of the concept I wanted to do.
Luego dibujé la figura principal y le agregué el fondo a la estatua usando un tono gris azulado, de esta manera queda un poco más vivo, además utilicé un pincel tipo spray para complementar el fondo y hacer las sombras del paraguas dándole textura granulada a la estatua.
Then I drew the main figure and added the background to the statue using a bluish gray tone, in this way it is a little more alive, I also used a spray type brush to complement the background and make the shadows of the umbrella giving the statue a grainy texture.
El paraguas lo hice de color rojo para crear un contraste con el color escogido para la estatua.
I made the umbrella red to create a contrast with the color chosen for the statue.
Después dibujé el fondo, la verdad en esta parte ya no tenía ni idea de qué hacer y solo seguí hasta que me gustó el resultado. Solo procuré que hubiese una cascada (pues es uno de los elementos que quería practicar) y que los colores armonizaran con los de la estatua y el paraguas, no sé si lo logré pero lo intenté jaja.
Then I drew the background, the truth is that in this part I had no idea what to do and I just kept going until I liked the result. I just made sure there was a waterfall (because it is one of the elements I wanted to practice) and that the colors harmonize with the statue's and the umbrella, I don't know if I succeeded but I tried haha.
Por último, añadí detalles de iluminación y el rocío generado por la caída de la cascada.
Lastly, I added details of illumination and the dew generated by the fall of the waterfall.
