Hello friends,
Today is day 9 of #Inktober prompt. Every day it gets more challenging for me. I wasn’t sure what to draw for Pressure. Then my childhood memories came up. When I was a kid I had a Shepherd dog. It was a really smart dog. Once when I took her for a walk (she was on a leash) a young Bull Terrier came to her and started pulling her leash really hard. I don’t know what her adult owner was thinking by letting this warrior dog without a leash, if it was me I would also put a muzzle on her because this dog was unpredictable. The neighbor had to get a thick stick to open his dog’s mouth. Bull Terriers apply a huge amount of pressure when they are angry and shut their mouth to not let the enemy go. So the owner had to push the stick through his dog’s teeth, so that it scratched pour doggie’s mouth. I was a kid, and this experience got stuck in my head since then. I read in Ernest Thompson Seton stories about Gingersnap, Bull Terrier which wouldn’t open his mouth until he realizes that the wild animal they hunted is dead. This is how strong their jaws are. Here is official info about their strength. The jaws of a Bull Terrier are strong. They have a force bite of 269 pounds per square inch.(!!!)
