This day I bring you another drawing, using as reference one of the scenes from "The Sword in the Stone" (1963) because it was an idea I had for almost a week and I decided to do it today, because I had no more ideas of what to do, however I wanted to do it with a different background, something warmer like sunset.

Que pasa compañeros como estan? este dia les traigo otro dibujo, utilizando como referencia una de las escena de "La Espada en la Piedra" (1963) pues era una idea que tenia desde hace casi una semana y decidí realizarlo hoy, pues no tenia mas ideas de que hacer, sin embargo lo quería hacer con un fondo diferente, algo mas cálido tipo atardecer.

As always I usually make the sketch by hand, so it is easier for me to make the closest to the image as a reference, because I do not have a graphic tablet yet, but soon, when I am starting to make the sketch I usually make geometric figures as a form of the sketch, to start the serious line.

Como siempre suelo realizar el boceto a mano, pues así se me hace mas fácil hacerlo lo mas parecido a la imagen como referencia, ya que todavía no cuento con una tableta gráfica, pero pronto, cuando estoy empezando a realizar el boceto suelo hacer figuras geométricas como forma del boceto, para comenzar a el lineado serio.

The painting of characters that have a lot of fur, as is the case, are usually quite complicated because it is not easy to achieve the effect and is much more difficult to do with the mouse but I am quite happy with the result, I started the painting with base colors, and shadows to give the necessary depth to the drawing, Once I had that part done, I started to paint the fur, which was the most complicated part, normally I do the fur with a darker color, once I had the fur, I had to keep adding more shadows because in this case the brightness came from the back of the characters.

El pintado de personajes que tienen mucho pelaje, como es el caso, suelen ser bastante complicado pues no es fácil lograr el efecto y es mucho mas difícil hacer a mouse sin embargo estoy bastante contento con el resultado, el pintado lo comencé con colores base, y sombras para darle la profundidad necesaria al dibujo, una vez ya tenia hecha esa parte, comencé pintar el pelaje, que era la la parte mas complicada, normalmente el pelaje lo hago con un color mas oscuro, una vez tenia el pelaje, debía seguir añadiendo mas sombras pues en este caso el brillo provenía de la parte trasera de los personajes.

The shadows were quite simple, I'm getting used to place them, so it has become a little easier, apart in this specific drawing despite the amount of fur that had, are so complicated in terms of details of shadows, shapes and so on, in short very easy to place the shadows.

Las sombras fueron bastante simples, ya me estoy acostumbrando a colocarlas, entonces se ha vuelto un poquito mas fácil, aparte en este dibujo en especifico a pesar de la cantidad de pelaje que tenia, son tan complicados en cuanto a detalles de de sombras, formas y demás, en resumen en muy fácil colocar las sombras.

The lights were at the same level as the pretty simple shadows, I just added some in the middle of the body to lift it and the heavy shadows around the whole drawing, because as the heart shaped sun was in the background, the fur would light up more on the outside and so I decided to do it.

Las luces estuvieron al mismo nivel que las sombras bastante simples, solo agregue algunas en la mitad del cuerpo para re alzarlo y los brillos pesados al rededor de todo el dibujo, pues como el sol en forma de corazón estaba en el fondo, el pelaje se iluminaria mas en el exterior y así decidí hacerlo.

The details were mainly in the glosses, because at the time of placing the background I had to intensify them because they were too opaque, that was the antepenultimate step to finish, the last one was to blur the edges of the drawing to improve it, it sounds quite simple but gives a very nice effect.

Los detalles sobre todo fueron en los brillos, pues al momento de colocar el fondo tuve que intensificarlos porque estaban demasiado opacos, ese fue el antepenúltimo paso para terminar, el ultimo fue difuminar los bordes del dibujo para mejorarlo, suena bastante simple pero da un efecto muy bonito.

The background would originally be identical to the scene in the film but at the last minute I decided to change it a bit and make it a little more romantic with a heart-shaped sun, in the background I used the same colors I used in a previous drawing by Merlin, and honestly I liked the final result, I think it looks much better than a blue background.

El fondo originalmente seria idéntico a la escena de la película pero a ultimo momento decidí cambiarlo un poco y hacerlo un poquito mas romántico con un sol en forma de corazón, en el fondo utilice los mismos colores que utilice en un dibujo anterior el de Merlín, y honestamente me gusto mucho el resultado final, creo que quedo mucho mejor que con un fondo azul.
