Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blissful Sunday to everyone. Welcome to my blog! My reference photo for today is a mountain view. In my previous post, I painted several mountain landscapes made of coffee. I demonstrate the step-by-step procedure there, if you have time you can check it out also.
This art "An Epic Mountain View" is a spectacular sight that captures the majesty and splendor of nature. It is where the sky meets up the earth in a remarkable and dramatic play. The mountains, with an impressive appearance in their structure and size, it adds also dimension and depth, creating an ever-changing view.
This epic landscape brings forth a sense of wonder and awe, reminding us of the power and enormous beauty of the natural world. It is a place where we truly feel humbled and at peace.
I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this piece.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
š Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper

š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm

Basic Procedure:
⢠Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
⢠Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
⢠On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
⢠The same procedure with the foreground.
⢠Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
⢠Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
