Greetings Hiver Friends, How are doing? Welcome to my art journal! Today I painted a landscape with coffee as a medium. If you know the techniques of water colour, coffee painting is just similar.
Materials Needed:
š Acrylic Pad Paper
š Pencil and eraser
š Coffee Powder
š 2 small cup ( lighter and darker shade of coffee)
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Paper napkin
Brushes:
š Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
š Round Brush #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
š Filbert Brush
Basic Procedure:
⢠First thing I did I made an sketch of your painting reference.
⢠Paint using lighter shade of the background
⢠For the middle ground, create those distance object.
⢠Paint the first layer of the trees and leaves,
once the first layer is completely dry, basically you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
⢠Sometimes I use acrylic white to create lights and some highlights like waterlines or water reflection.
