Greetings Hiver friends, How are you there? Today I decided to make an art made of coffee powder. This is my original art composition with the coffee medium. This material has great potential to create incredible pieces of art, the texture is remarkable. If you are interested to paint using coffee, The methods are similar to watercolor.
I used three types of painting brushes for this art. And it took me forty-five minutes to finish this craft.
Materials Needed:
š Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
š Pencil and eraser
š Coffee Powder
š 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Rag
š Paper napkin
Brushes:
š Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
š Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Painting Procedure:
⢠Outline or sketch your painting reference.
⢠Paint using a lighter shade of the background which is the sky.
Brush: flat brush
⢠Paint the first layer of the mountains. Same with the trees, bushes, rocks, and waterfall.
Brush: flat brush, filbert brush, and liner brush.
⢠Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
⢠Then add some details to come alive of your painting. Especially, lights, and shadows.
Take note: Inputting details, you cannot have a sharp line or a shape unless it is completely dry.
Process:
This is the finished art.
