Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blissful Monday to everyone. Welcome to my art blog! Let me share with you my art made of coffee. In this post, I created a lovely view of the autumn season, I call this piece of art "The Peaceful Pathway of Autumn.
The Peaceful Pathway of Autumn is a calm trail that meanders through an attractive landscape decorated with the vibrant colors of fall. As you walk along this autumn pathway, you are encircled by the gentle whisper of leaves and, the crisp cool air that carries the fragrance of autumn. It is a place where you can find comfort and reflection, letting you attach to the beauty of the natural world.
I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this piece.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.
Materials Needed:
š Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
š Pencil and Eraser
š Coffee Powder
š 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Rag
š Paper napkin or paper towel
Brushes:
š Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
š Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
⢠Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
⢠Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
⢠On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
⢠The same procedure with the foreground.
⢠Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
⢠Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.
Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
