Hello to all the sketchers and also to those who are not, today I decided to make a drawing that I had been postponing for a long time because it represented a great challenge for me: A self-portrait, a drawing of myself, it is something that I have never really done, but it was necessary, so I got down to work and looked for a photo that I liked.
And well I chose one that I took recently that I liked a lot, in this photo I also go out making a sign with my hands, but I omitted it because I wanted it to be only a drawing of my house.
Hola a todos los dibujantes y también a los que no lo son, el día de hoy me propuse hacer un dibujo que tenía tiempo posponiendo ya que representaba un gran reto para mi: Un autorretrato, un dibujo de mi persona, es algo que realmente nunca he hecho, pero que ya era necesario, así que me puse manos a la obra y busque una foto que me gustara.
Y bueno escogí una que me tome recientemente que me gustó mucho, en esta foto también salgo haciendo una seña con mis manos, pero la omití porque quería que solo fuera un dibujo de mi casa

I started making the sketch, I was a little nervous, but when I grabbed the pencil everything flowed naturally, and I left the nerves behind, it took me a bit to draw the glasses, and yet you can see that in the end they were not 100% attached to how they look in the photo, however I did not take it as a mistake because it is a drawing a little cartoonish and unrealistic.
Empecé haciendo el boceto, estaba un poco nervioso, pero cuando agarré el lápiz todo fluyó de manera natural, y deje los nervios atrás, me costó un poco dibujar los lentes, y sin embargo se puede apreciar que al final no quedaron 100% apegados a como salen en la foto, sin embargo no lo tome como un error porque es un dibujo un poco caricaturesco y no realista.

Once the sketch was finished I proceeded to do the outline of the drawing or the lineart, I did it with a very thin pencil, then I erased what was in pencil and finally I perfected some details that I did not like, I was really very excited because I felt that it was looking too good and that it was quite similar to my own.
Ya terminado el boceto procedí a hacer el delineado del dibujo o el lineart, este lo hice con un lapicero muy delgado, luego borre lo que estaba al lápiz y por ultimo perfeccione algunos detallitos que no me gustaron, realmente estaba muy entusiasmado porque sentía que me estaba quedando demasiado bien y que se parecía bastante a mi

Then I started with the base color of the skin, a peach color that I applied all over the face and neck, applying it with a little more strength in the parts like the edges, after that I took a little break because I had been drawing for a long time and my eyes were a little tired.
Luego empecé por el color base de la piel, un color durazno que apliqué por todo el rostro y el cuello, aplicándolo con un poco más de fuerza en las partes como los bordes, luego de haber echo esto me tomé un pequeño descanso porque ya tenía tiempo dibujando y tenía la vista un poco cansada

The next day, after having breakfast and a bath I continued with this drawing, I shaded it with two colors with the color sienna brown and with a darker brown, I reddened lips and cheeks with a pink and in the shiny parts I applied yellow, I also colored the eyes with a dark brown and with black, as well as the eyebrows to which I gave details with a pencil to make it like hair by hair.
Al día siguiente, luego de haber desayunado y haberme bañado continué con este dibujo, le di sombra con dos colores con el color café siena y con un café más oscuro, enrojecí labios y mejillas con un rosado y en las partes de brillo apliqué amarillo, también coloree los ojos con un café oscuro y con negro, al igual las cejas a las cuales les di detalles con un lapicero para hacerlo como pelo por pelo

After I had the face completely colored, I started to color the hair, which cost me a lot because the black color I have is very small, it must literally measure about 5cm, however it is not something that limits me and I relied on the pen and a dark gray to make it look good. I also colored the glasses I have on, which are a little lighter in real life but I felt they would look better if I made them a little darker.
After that I gave details to the neck part, applying almost the same technique I used for the face, as a base color I used a peach color, for the shadows a sienna brown and a slate gray, and in the lighting parts yellow and pink.
Después de tener la cara coloreada por completo, me puse a colorear el cabello, el cual me costó mucho porque el color negro que tengo está muy pequeño, literalmente debe medir como 5cm, sin embargo no es algo que me limite y me apoye del bolígrafo y un gris oscuro para que me quedara bien. También coloreé los lentes que tengo puestos que son en la vida real un pocos más claros pero sentí que iban a quedar mejor si los hacia un poco más oscuros.
Luego de eso le di detalles a la parte del cuello, aplicando casi la misma técnica que usé para la cara, como color base utilice un color durazno, para las sombras un café siena y un gris pizarra, y en partes de iluminación amarillo y rosado

After having finished almost everything I started to paint the shirt I'm wearing, I did it with paint because I had prepared a paint with a little blue and black and I didn't want to waste it and as it was just the color I needed then it was not a problem for me, and as I really like to paint so I did it.
Luego de haber terminado casi todo me puse pintar la camisa que llevo puesta, la hice con pintura porque justamente había preparado una pintura con un poco de azul y negro y no quería desperdiciarla por y como era justo el color que necesitaba entonces no fue un problema para mi, y como me gusta mucho pintar así lo hice
Everything was almost ready and I was very happy with how it was turning out, to finish this work of art all that was missing was a background and since my favorite color is blue, I took my blue highlighter and made this effect. I liked it but I felt it lacked a personal touch, so finally I came up with the idea of adding a brush to represent my love for drawing and painting and some musical notes to represent the music I love so much. After hours of work this was the final result, with which I was very satisfied and happy because I loved it and I hope you also like it a lot because I did it with love and affection.

Ya estaba casi todo listo y yo estaba muy alegre con como me estaba quedando, para terminar ya con esta obra de arte solo le faltaba un fondo y como mi color favorito es el azul pues, tomé mi resaltador azul y le hice este efecto. Me había gustado pero sentía que le faltaba un toque personal, así que por ultimo se me ocurrió la idea de agregarle un pincel en representación de mi amor por dibujar y pintar y unas notas musicales en representación de la música que tanto amo. Después de horas de trabajo este fue el resultado final, con el que estuve muy satisfecho y feliz porque me encantó y espero que a ustedes también les guste mucho porque lo hice con mucho amor y con cariño.
