Hello everyone, today I am very excited to show you this beautiful drawing, we are already in October and halloween is coming, one of my favorite celebrations, so I decided to make a drawing a little darker and maybe a little scary. It is a mermaid with a lost look and a little scared.
Hola a todooos, hoy vengo muy emocionado a mostrarles este hermoso dibujo, ya entramos en octubre y se acerca halloween, una de mis celebraciones favoritas, así que decidí hacer un dibujo un poco más oscuro y tal vez tenebroso. Se trata de una sirena con una mirada perdida y un poco asustada.

I started making the sketch, I looked for inspiration in several drawings of mermaids and also in drawings of halloween, to capture a little bit the vibe and get into the atmosphere better. I hadn't drawn for a long time and it wasn't for work, so I thought I was going to be a little rusty, however it was the opposite, everything flowed in a very natural way and I fell in love with the drawing from the sketch.
Empecé haciendo el boceto, busqué inspiración en varios dibujos de sirenas y también en dibujos de halloween, para captar un poco la vibra y entrar mejor en el ambiente. Tenía tiempo sin dibujar y que no fuera por trabajo, así que pensé que iba a estar un poco oxidado, sin embargo fue al contrario, todo fluyó de una manera muy natural y me enamoré del dibujo desde el boceto.

After finishing the sketch I took a break and the next day I outlined it with my beloved extra fine tip marker. When highlighting the drawing I also added some shadows with a technique that I don't usually use, I'm talking about those little dots that I think look like tattoos. I decided to shade in this way because I think it would look darker, although I have to tell you that when I colored the drawing the dots were no longer very noticeable.
Luego de terminar el boceto tomé un descanso y al otro día lo remarqué con mi amado marcador de punta extrafina. Al remarcar el dibujo también agregué algunas sombras con una técnica que no uso generalmente, estoy hablando de esos puntitos que según yo parecen de tatuaje. Decidí sombrear de esta manera porque creo que así se iba a ver más tenebroso, aunque les cuento que cuando coloreé el dibujo los puntos dejaron de notarse muchísimo.

Y llegó mi parte favorita de hacer cualquier dibujooo: colorear, como este personaje tiene un hermoso cabello decidí que debía empezar coloreando su hermosa cola de caballo, y así fue, empecé aplicando un color azul, luego con menta y amarillo fui dando brillo y con azul oscuro y morado le di sombra al dibujo. Luego con un lapicero hice algunos pelitos para que se viera mejor. Mientras iba coloreando iba comparando con los otros dibujos de este personaje para ir guiándome

Then I started to color the skin, something that had me a little worried and I'll tell you why, it turns out that the color I always use to color the skin of my characters was finished a peach color, I only had the beige which is more yellowish, and I thought it was going to look bad, but I was wrong, actually I think it looked better, because it gives a paler touch, at that moment I got creative, I started to throw a lot of colors to the skin, I threw pink, blue, purple, blackberry, green, mint and yellow, and although at first glance you can not notice, actually I applied many colors and it took me a long time.
Luego empecé a colorear la piel, algo que me tenía un poco preocupado y ya les cuento porque, resulta que el color que siempre uso para colorear la piel de mis personajes se acabó un color melocotón, solo tenía el beige que es más amarillento, y creí que iba a quedar mal, pero me equivoqué, en realidad considero que quedó mejor, ya que le da un toque más pálido, en ese momento me puse creativo, me entró la loquero, empecé a echarle un montó de colores a la piel, le eché rosado, azul, morado, color mora, verde, menta y amarillo, y aunque a simple vista no se note, en realidad apliqué muchos colores y tardé bastante.

Then I colored the tail of this beautiful mermaid, usually for this tail I use blue, yellow and mint colors, but as for this occasion I am looking for something darker I chose to mix blue with purple giving it a darker touch, I also applied yellow to give it more light and contrast. With white paint I made some small details on the tail and on the bra.
Después coloreé la cola de esta hermosa sirena, generalmente para esta cola yo uso colores azules, amarillos y color menta, pero como para esta ocasión estoy buscando algo más oscuro opté por mezclar azul con morado dándole un toque más tenebroso, también apliqué amarillo para darle más luz y hacer contraste. Con pintura blanca hice algunos pequeños detalles en la cola y en el sostén.

The drawing was ready, I just had to give it a background to highlight the dark mermaid, I drew some seaweed and colored the whole background in a dark blue color, I colored the seaweed totally black with marker and I also made some bubbles that I didn't really like, but I don't hate them either.
Ya estaba listo el dibujo, solamente debía darle un fondo para resaltar a la tenebrosa sirena, dibujé algunas algas y coloreé todo el fondo de un color azul oscuro, las algas los coloreé totalmente de negro con marcador y también hice algunas burbujas que la verdad no me gustaron mucho, pero tampoco las odio.

And this was the final result, I'm sure this has been one of the best works I've done in my life, I love it, I hope you also liked this beautiful drawing, I can't decide what I like the most, but I love the tail and the hair too. Y este fue el resultado final, de verdad estoy seguro de que este ha sido uno de los mejores trabajos que he hecho en mi vida, me encanta, espero que a ustedes también les haya gustado este hermoso dibujo, no puedo decidir lo que me gusta más, pero me encanta la cola y también el cabello. Espero pronto compartir por acá algunos dibujos tenebrosos, estaba pensando en dibujar a las chicas de Monster High ¿Qué opinan? Bueno, yo por ahora me despido. Chaoo!❤️❤️
