Step by Step:
Primero, comencé el proyecto dibujando un boceto rústico de nuestro imponente Capitán, para luego detallar de mejor manera sus facciones y ropa. También detalle bastante su cabello y barba, intentando crear un personaje iconico.
First, I started the project by drawing a rustic sketch of our imposing Captain, to later detail his features and clothing. I also detailed his hair and beard, trying to create an iconic character.
Luego, realicé el Line Art final, puliendo cada facción de su rostro y detalles en general dejando todo listo para colorear. Quería representar en el coloreado un contra luz, y jugar mucho con las sombras en sus rostro, para que fuera interesante a la vista. Por lo que decidí jugar mucho con las arrugas de su rostro y ropa junto con el color, para generar el concepto que quería.
Then, I made the final line art, polishing each faction of his face and details in general, leaving everything ready for coloring. I wanted to represent in the coloring a counter light, and play a lot with the shadows on his face, to make it interesting to the eye. So I decided to play a lot with the wrinkles of his face and clothes along with the color, to generate the concept I wanted.
Llegados a este punto, terminé de colorear el brillo en su rostro y decidí colocar mi firma en la esquina superior izquierda del lienzo, dando por terminado mi ilustración.
At this point, I finished coloring the glow on her face and decided to place my signature in the upper left corner of the canvas, ending my illustration.
Y de esta manera, doy por culminada mi publicación. La verdad es que me la pasé increíble ilustrando este nuevo personaje. Fue súper cool visualizar el mundo por el cual el "Capitán" navegaría, ya que considero nutria de manera positiva al dibujo.

And thus, I consider my publication to be complete. The truth is that I had an incredible time illustrating this new character. It was super cool to visualize the world through which the "Captain" would navigate, as I consider it nourishes the drawing in a positive way.
