Step by Step:
Primero, comencé dibujando un bosquejo sucio. Luego, decidí definir detalles, marcando de manera mas clara el diseño de nuestro protagonista. En este caso, hice énfasis en su expresión, herida facial, vestimenta y cabello. Quería que sus ojos transmitieran cansancio y que la herida en su rostro fuera grande y marcada.
First, I started by drawing a rough sketch. Then, I decided to define details, marking in a clearer way the design of our protagonist. In this case, I emphasized his expression, facial injury, clothing and hair. I wanted his eyes to transmit tiredness and the wound on his face to be big and marked.
Luego, continué con el Line Art, dejando todo listo para el coloreado. Quería usar muchos tonos marrones y oscuros, ya que visualizaba a nuestro protagonista dentro de un frondoso bosque. También tenía pensado que su ropa brillara mas de lo que debería, enfatizando en el mítico traje del protaginista de "Dark".
Then, I continued with the line art, leaving everything ready for coloring. I wanted to use a lot of brown and dark tones, since I visualized our protagonist inside a lush forest. I also had in mind that his clothes should shine more than they should, emphasizing the mythical costume of the main character of "Dark".
Llegados a este punto, y habiendo finalizado el coloreado del viajero, decidí agregar el fondo, difuminando colores que según yo podrían representar el bosque. Luego, decidí corregir un poco el color de su piel, ya que consideraba y estaba muy pálida. Luego, finalicé la ilustración colocando mi firma en la parte superior del dibujo.
At this point, and having finished coloring the traveler, I decided to add the background, blurring colors that I thought might represent the forest. Then, I decided to correct a little the color of his skin, as I considered it to be very pale. Then, I finished the illustration by placing my signature at the top of the drawing.
Y de esta manera, doy por culminada mi ilustración. Fue una experiencia muy amena, y me la pasé muy bien creando este personaje. Amé el resultado final, ya que me siento muy satisfecho con el trabajo que hice con las sombras y detalles. And in this way, I consider my illustration to be complete. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I had a great time creating this character. I loved the final result, as I feel very satisfied with the work I did with the shadows and details.
