Hello everyone, I hope your week is going on fine. Here is a post to lighten up the day I a little bit, watching a simple sketch come to life vie shading.
Medium:- Blue and red pen on white paper
Shading technique:- hatching
Firstly, I made the roughy sketch, it might not look perfect from the start until you start the shading.
Once you can get the shapes done, it a matter of identifying where the lights reflects on and the shaded parts, also about knowing how well to blend the lights into dark, then you have a perfect shading.
I wouldn’t forget the shadows, the shadows brings out the fact that they are on a surface. It kind of add more beauty to the artwork.
