Hace unos días llegó a mi casa un pichon de cernicáro, una pequeña ave depredadora muy típica de nuestros campos.
Esa pequeña ave cazadora, al igual que todas las de su especie, tiene un aspecto raro, pero sobre todo una mirada expresiva y profunda. Hoy me puse a observar al ave con ojos de artista y me inspiré a hacer algunos bocetos en diferentes posiciones. Con un bolígrafo de tinta negra y una hoja de papel tipo carta, capté parte de la expresividad de ese animal.
Sobre todo, me centré en la parte de la cabeza donde los ojos tienen la mayor expresividad.
Todos los dibujos hechos con espontaneidad y ligereza los hice en la misma hoja para darle un aspecto de estudio continuo.
El dibujo final lo hice en el centro, y fue la posición que más me gustó. Ahí se las dejo con el proceso completo.

A few days ago a cernicáro spike arrived at my house, a small predatory bird very typical of our fields. This small hunting bird, like all its species, has a strange appearance, but above all an expressive and deep look. Today I started observing the bird with the eyes of an artist and was inspired to make some sketches in different positions. With a black ink pen and a sheet of letter-type paper, I captured part of the expressiveness of that animal.
Above all, I focused on the part of the head where the eyes have the greatest expressiveness.
All the drawings made with spontaneity and lightness were made on the same sheet to give it an aspect of continuous study.
I made the final drawing in the center, and it was the position that I liked the most. I leave you there with the complete process.
