Hello guys, how are you all doing today, I will love to share with you a still life painting I did today and the difficulties I faced and how I was able to solve it.
the items where picked by my painting instructor and arranged by him, this particular still life gave me tough time because I painted the background in a dark tone, but later painted it in a brighter tone which makes the painting pop out at the end, and another difficulty I faced was painting of the kettle, it was very difficult for me to build up my values, like the light tone and the middle tone, this took me the whole day, but eventually I was able to build up the value after taking a break by cooling my head off, as for the planks and the cup it was very sweet and easy.
