Hey everyone, welcome back to my comic blog.
I recently shared a detailed breakdown of another panel from this issue on Steem (you can see it here). For this post, I wanted to show a different page and a slightly different process.
Silent Hawk Issue 6 is officially live on GlobalComix! 🎉

A Little Taste of What's Inside...
"How naive. I haven't killed you because my ego won't let me kill someone who doesn't fear me."
"Why don't I start torturing one of you to see if you'll still have this vibe?"
"Black-haired girl... I should start with you."
Behind the Scenes: From Sketch to Final
I thought I'd share the process for another page from Issue 6. This time, instead of separate images, here's a GIF showing the entire journey—from rough sketch to final panel.
Quick breakdown of what happened:
· Started with rough sketch of the first panel
· Traced and cleaned up
· Moved to other panels, sketched and traced
· Used bucket tool for flat colors
· Added shadows and lighting
· Built the background
· Overlaid red layer for mood
· Final text added
The insight from drawing the previous page helped me work smarter on this one. Every page teaches you something.
Final Thoughts
Getting this issue out was a journey—especially with the electricity challenges along the way. But we kept pushing, and now Issue 6 is out there.
I'd love for you to read it and let me know what you think.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the series!
Thanks for riding with me. ❤️
