Hey Y'all!
Hello everyone and welcome back to emanate artworx. So glad you're here! 💌 Today let's have a look at my recent landscape study depicting a peaceful rural scene.

Inspiration
I love the tranquility of the countryside because it's perfect for relaxing the mind and and getting re-centered. Plus the scenic vistas make a perfect muse.
The reference for this painting came from a picture I took earlier this year. While I was working my day job, we went the back-way to a customer's site when I saw this driveway to someone's property. It was so quaint!
I like to take pictures in my day to day and save them for future references, and this one is no exception. The more bucolic the better! Haha, 🌽 corny but true 🥲.
Reflection
This was made using IbisPaint X, and specifically with some of the user-uploaded brushes I recently downloaded from the IP community page.
Many of the brushes I used on this piece have names that are in languages I do not know, so I don't know what to call some of them besides "I love this brush!" (screen caps at the end).
Brushes that emulate traditional materials are usually the ones I go to first because I like how "natural" they look. Isn't that funny? Striving to re-create something from the physical world in a digital form seems like a head scratcher in some ways lol. But anyway,
I really like how this piece has some softness or scruffiness (?) to it because it matches the natural subject matter. As we know, nature is perfectly imperfect.
