Como bien lo indica tu invitación; el “Día de Muertos” es una de las tradiciones más bonita que posee México, en la cual se colocan altares llenes de ofrendas para los seres querido que han fallecido.
Motivada, decidí elaborar un dibujo para participar en este concurso.
Utilizando las figuras de calaveras en mi ilustración, debido a la siguiente cita
Todos nacemos para vivir y morir, no es algo que escojamos “es un regalo que nos obsequian”, depende de nosotros tener o no una buena vida.
Es parte del ciclo de la vida, vivirla al maximo y un dia a la vez.

As your invitation indicates; The "Day of the Dead" is one of the most beautiful traditions that Mexico has, in which altars full of offerings are placed for loved ones who have passed away.
Motivated, I decided to make a drawing to participate in this contest.
Using the skull figures in my illustration, due to the following quote
We are all born to live and die, it is not something we choose "it is a gift that they give us", it depends on us whether or not we have a good life.
It is part of the cycle of life, living it to the fullest and one day at a time.

Muy decoradas las Calaveras, tal como se realiza en las tradicionales calaveritas de dulce. Adicionalmente, emplee varios de los elementos básicos que componen un altar como parte de mi ilustración, la cual describiré a continuación:
Cuatro velas o cirios; los cuales sirven para orientar a las almas e iluminar el camino de los difuntos.
Flores ; las cuales sirven de adornos y aromatizan los altares; mientras más coloridas y de mayor cantidad de pétalos posean, son mucho mejor.

The Calaveras are highly decorated, as is done in the traditional sweet skulls. Additionally, I used several of the basic elements that make up an altar as part of my illustration, which I will describe below:
Four candles or tapers; which serve to guide souls and illuminate the path of the deceased.
Flowers ; which serve as ornaments and scent the altars; the more colorful and the more petals they have, the better they are.
